- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5What this book says is that walking in the forest ( or going to parks and being near plants in general ) is scientifically proven to be good for us. It boosts the immune system, uplifts mood, lowers blood pressure and shortens patient recovery time. So how to apply in our lives? 1)Two hours per day in the forest/park or even once a week. 2) Grow indoor plants at home. 3) Listen to forest music or flowing water. 4) Use wood essential oils for aromatherapy (the author's favorite while working is hinoki). 5.) Exercise outdoors.
