      Incredible storytelling. The author does an excellent job weaving the past and present together. The problems facing the couple feel genuine and real work is required to face them. I love that she allows us to hear both Colt's and Avery's inner monologue. I also like that she leaves the story as a work in progress with enough closure to be satisfying.

      Just like the first book, this was a hit with me. Usually I'm not the biggest fan of stories involving exes getting back together, I don't know why, I'm just a "New love" kind of girl when it comes to love stories. However, I didn't mind it at all with this story. I even wished there were more flashbacks, which is a first for me. It lost a bit of magic towards the end for me, but heck I'm still rating this 4.8 so can't really say it was a problem. Narrator did a fantastic job as well.
      Now I unfortunately need to sleep. Otherwise I would have started the next book immediately. Happy listening :)
