About this audiobook

More teens are turning away from the faith than ever before: it is estimated that 75 to 88 percent of Christian teens walk away from Christianity by the end of their freshman year of college. Something mustbe done.Family Driven Faith equips Christian parents with the tools they need to raise children biblically in a post-Christian, antifamily society. Voddie Baucham, who with his wife has overcome a multigenerational legacy of broken and dysfunctional homes, shows that God has not left us alone in raising godly children. This bold book is an urgent call to parents-and the church-to return to biblical discipleship in and through the home. This paperback edition includes a new preface and a study guide to facilitate interaction in small-group settings and to help parents put principles into practice.

This book was an incredible one that every Christian should read. It’s changed my mindset in so many ways and confirmed some things that God was already putting on my heart in raising our children. So grateful so have been able to listen to this vs read because it wasn’t a short read but well worth the time!!!

I wish I would’ve heard these truths a long time ago. I’m thankful for our God who redeems and for faithful servants in the faith.

The book is a sobering treatise on the why and the how of raising a family according to the biblical mandate. It presents some radical ideas on the role of the church and refocuses the responsibility of raising the family back on to the husband and father.

One may not agree with everything the author says but he argues thoroughly from the Bible and invites the reader to do the same.

Voddie Baucham demonstrates the need for parent-led-spiritual-development of our children and outlines the biblical case for it. Prepare to be challenged, convicted, and then spurred on to take the reigns of discipling your children.
