About this audiobook
Tennyson Clark is getting a life. First step: quitting her job as assistant to Dominic Anderson, star quarterback for the Washington Warriors, her best friend…and the man she’s been secretly in love with for years. But since the gorgeous, if overprotective playboy has only ever seen her as his BFF, she’s finally ready to relinquish her tattered fantasy and move on. Enter steps two and three: new job and new man.
Football is Dominic's life, and with his contract soon up for renewal, all his focus needs to be on the game. But Tennyson—dependable, logical Tennyson—is making that next to impossible with her mysterious new job and her sudden interest in online dating. He doesn’t do relationships. But the thought of another man touching her sexier-than-hell curves has him suddenly wanting more from his best friend.
Indulging in hot, dirty, what’s-my-name sex with no strings and lots of benefits is simple, uncomplicated…until it’s not.

- Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5In all honesty, I really wanted to whack Dom upside the head a few times. How could he be so selfishly oblivious to Tenny's feelings for so long? And his was a classic reaction of "didn't know what you had till it's gone" or rather going as it is in this case.
Tennyson must have had nerves of steel and a heart of gold to put up with his shenanigans for so long. But she gives him a good run around when she agrees to the 'benefits' of their relationship. And I really enjoyed seeing him finally make an effort to keep her in his life. She deserved all that attention after what he put her through all those years
This series is really turning out to be loads of fun and I look forward to the next in the series.

I wished the relationship between Dom and Tenny was developed more. I felt like just telling us how close they were or how long they knew each other wasn’t enough. It felt a bit like he wasn’t really in love with her (beyond platonic and sex) and was forcing himself to be with her because he didn’t want to lose her.
However, this was a good listen and I do recommend it.
Also the way Zeph and Sophia’s voice was being read had me shocked! Poor Zeph lost his hot and illustrious southern drawl and Sophia sounded downright annoying! But I understand! Zeph can’t sound sexy or else the readers would gravitate towards him more! - Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5Rcvd an ARC at no cost to author..(netgalley) This is the second book in the series and I did enjoy it. This book is about Dom and Tenny. Tenny has loved Dom for years but he only sees her as his little sister and she has finally decided she can not continue to work as his PA and loving him from afar and continue to get her heartbroken as he continues with his hit-it and quit it relationships. Dom is flabbergasted he can not believe that Tenny wants to leave him, that is how he sees it, and as she starts looking for replacements for him, his eyes are finally open to the woman standing before him. Of course things do not go smoothly for them, Dom wants a friends with benefits relationship and she agrees until she leaves..But things dont always go as planned. Enjoy!
- Rating: 3 out of 5 stars3/5I had trouble believing their chemistry as a couple. The writing was very good, the story was well paced. Tennyson was a bit too whiney for my taste and Dominic didn't seem to have a lot of depth to him. I will definitely try another by Naima Simone as she is a very good writer.
- Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5This was a fast and fun friends to lovers read. There were a lot of feels to be had in a short span of time, and I wish that there was more on this adorable and hot couple.

- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5Tennyson Clark is quarterback Dominic Anderson assistant and longtime friend, she also has secretly been in love with him for years. She’s finally realized the handsome playboy will always look out for her but she’ll be stuck in the BFF zone for ever and has to move on and a new job is in the cards with perhaps a little online dating.Dom is not sure how he feels about Tenny’s news, she has always been there with him, and the thought of her dating another man turns his stomach.Dom and Tenny make a great couple, everyone around them see it, but Tenny’s not waiting around for him any longer and Dom’s not a relationship kind of guy anyway. They finally do try to have a little fun, a friends with benefits kind of thing. Dom likes this arrangement but when Tenny continues to look for a new job he’s not happy.I liked this story very much. It was full of fun and snappy dialogue, there was plenty of giggles and laughs to be had. Tenny was a determined young woman, tired of waiting for her love to notice her in the same way. And Dom was a good guy really, he cared for Tenny, he just needed a boot in the butt to push him in the right direction.Tenny reached out and Dom pushed and pulled, both struggling for happiness.I highly recommend this book!
