      Good, but, reading previous comments, I expected more... Too long, predictable, already seen...

      The reading was excellent! Not overdone. The story itself was interesting. I enjoyed the lack of insta-love. The African American Woman representation was AWESOME! No mad Black Woman syndrome here. It's important that Black women be allowed to feel the same level as hurt as other women without feeling as though they'll be labeled because of it. Ree was hurt, on guard, but able to hold her own. Sampson was vulnerable, ready to love, but fearful. It was a cute story. Only 3 sex scenes if I'm not mistaken and they are easy to spot and fast forward past if that's not your thing.

      What a wonderful romance with a powerful heroine. And that end sentence is just so good ?

      The beginning really pulled me in but then it started to drag a little. However, it picked back up again but when it got toward the last section of the book I felt like it was being rushed and then it was over. I couldn't believe it ended just like that. I was still waiting for other things to happen and it was a huge let down knowing the book was over.

      This book was everything !
      The characters were great, the love story was great, the overall plot. And it touched on so much more ! I love the sport aspect and how it affected Samson’s life ! The story is just full of depths. It’s not just the love story, that is also very good ( no bad drama or whatever ) but it’s about so much more important things.
      The book is **inspiring**. And if that’s not mind blowing when it comes from a romance I don’t know !
      Plus I need to say, I love Samoa ! I mean The Rock please. And my boyfriend. It just added something to it.
      I loved it. And would absolutely recommend. Favorite romance so far.

      I was very excited for this one and very grateful when a friend sent me an advance copy. I was a little worried as this was pretty hyped, but I ended up really enjoying it.

      I really loved how Rhiannon and Samson. I love their banter, how they meet, and how their relationship progressed over time. They were just so cute.

      This does deal with some heavier topics such as sexual harassment and athletic injuries.

      Overall, I really enjoyed this one!

      Can you forgive someone for ghosting you?

      I loved this second chance romance. It really tackled the strength in how vulnerable you have to be to love someone. If you want a happy ending to help you get through this stressful times, pick up this book?

      SO GOOD! could barely put it down; amazing storyline filled with 3d characters that weren’t just the main characters. made me want another story just for the other characters as well, they were all just filled with life!
