About this audiobook

As an a'ani warrior, my life matters little. Cloned from the same matter as thousands of others, I am but one of many. Here on the ice planet, though, I can start over. I can become my own person, have my own needs, my own wants.

I know what I want. I have known since the moment I arrived.

Her name is Angie. She is human, with sad, lonely eyes, and a very pregnant belly. To her, I am not just another clone. I am Vordis, the one who laughs at her jokes, tends to her needs, and makes her smile. I will do anything to make her mine.

But my brother and fellow clone Thrand thinks the same way, and he's just as determined to win her. Will I have to destroy my bond with my brother to win my female? Or will he cause a rift between us that's impossible to mend?

Contains mature themes.

One of the better ones in the series. Vordis is a good male lead, but I think there were opportunities to make the story more interesting.

    Spoiler warning ⚠️
I dont think they needed to wait until after the baby was born to start getting busy, and immediately resonating after having the baby didn't do anything to improve their story. It would have been a nice difference, of Vordis was tight about clones being sterile and felt like this ready-made family was a perfect opportunity to o get a family he otherwise couldn't have. Then Thrand could be one relationship that doesn't want children.

After this many books seems like we would have at least one couple that doesn't have or want what everyone else does.

Also, Victoria mentions turning off resonance for a couple and Im like "wait what? When did that happen???" Ugh I hate tht you have to jump back and forth between different series to get the full story.

Nice. I like the twins. What kind of drove me loopy was Angie because she constantly over thought things and she really kept forgetting that the guys where slaves. I don't understand that she's been on ice for 10years at least and she woke up expecting, and uncertain about her future and baby. It was a good story all round.

The first of any IPB or IceHome series that I’m ranking below 4 stars. This one was just flat out boring. And I don’t know how else to say that. Maybe it shouldn’t have been so long. As the series continues, they get longer and longer. But this one didn’t need all that time.

I’m also noticing a trend where the male perspective gets less time than the female in the IceHome novels. I don’t know if that’s intentional or.... but I need another Maddie/Liz/Brooke. Please?? Angie isn’t cutting it for me.

Might be her best! Only Ruby could write the most amusing, charmed, eroticly suspenseful, poignant life lesson book.
