This book was informative and precise and got straight to the point. The only thing I didn’t like was the mention of Aspies not having empathy, which is untrue. The may have trouble with cognitive empathy but many experience great amounts of empathy, if not an above average amount. That was the only thing holding this rating back from 5 stars. Highly recommend for any one with an Aspie in their life.

While clearly well intentioned, this book is dangerously out of date.

I suspect this is just someone reading the Wikipedia article for Asperger's syndrome.

Informative, and it was so interesting to hear the facts and short snippets that explain why my husband of 13 years acts the way he does. I never knew all these drastic differences in perspective and communication styles weren't unique to him. I just wish the book was longer and went more into depth in the various concepts and traits, as I'm left feeling like I got a lot of facts but not much actual information. A good starter read though, to see if Aspergers is something you or a loved one can relate to!

Enjoyed reading this book. Goes straight to the point about common questions lay people, like myself, have about the AS. More importantly, the book gives the reader tools and strategies to help out people with AS. I recommend this book.

The narrator needs to learn how to pronounce Asperger's! I quit listening because I found it annoying that he is pronouncing it incorrectly (and also in a stilted manner). :-\

Whenever you're excited about something, you often tell other people about it. So, that's what I'm doing too. The ideas from the author made sense to me. I agreed with everything, and that's one more reason I am so fired up about this audiobook. The author didn't randomly select bits and pieces of bad advice, but rather, figured out the claims enough. This is the ultimate mix of an excellent storyteller and a fantastic author, who teamed up and decided to turn this into an useful product. Good for them.
