      This was short and sweet with lots of twists.

      I enjoyed the rockstar trope and the concept behind Hunter and Ailis becoming a couple and their career development as well. That was a unique storyline and I liked seeing how that played out. I really wanted more depth because everything seemed so short and snappy. One decision would be made and very quickly without much reason another alternative option would be thrown in the ring.

      Mari is good at steam and that's definitely why you read these books but I also love the family dynamic and seeing characters from other books in the series and the companion series.
