Olivia filed for divorce six months previous when she found out Bennett had cheated on her.
When he has an accident and is rushed to hospital she goes there immediately, even after everything what has come down in her marriage she still wants to be next to him, but what she is shocked to find is that Bennett has lost his memory of the last two years. Bennett is shocked and just cannot understand why he would have done this to Olivia as she is the love of his life.
The poor man is devastated to say the least, he is angry at himself and can't comprehend why would he betrayed her this way.

When you start to read the connection between this couple you will understand the situation they both find themselves in.

Understandably Olivia has moved on a little trying to rebuild her shattered confidence and put her life back together but Bennett makes it difficult to do just that.
Flitting back between the past and the present, we get to experience exactly what happened to crush their relationship.

Bennett is a man you just can't help but love. Sexy, alpha, possessive, a dirty talker that will melt your heart/panties right off, he adores Olivia so much and this comes across so well in the writing of his character.
I LOVED Bennett, he knows he has made a huge mistake and he wants his wife back and he tries his hardest to make that happen.

Olivia is of course torn by her emotions which are being pulled back and forth in all directions for the love she still has for her husband but the betrayal still so fresh in her mind and her heart.
I understand her but man was she being selfish and childish towards the end.
I know she has dealt with lots of shit but man come on.

Honestly this story will pull every emotion from you and drain you dry but boy was it worth it !! This story has lots of angst and the sex was sooooo HOT!!

It certainly a page turner that I devoured and
I loved every bit of it.

This novel was so heart breaking and beautiful. I loved how the struggle of marriage was never glossed over or under played. Highly recommend this book for anyone who wants to be ripped part and put back together again.

I really really enjoyed this book. I enjoy a good dark romance/fixing a marriage romance.

This would normally be a 4 star read but the emotions I expected to feel didn’t hit me.
I initially DNFed this but gave it another go. The story was better than I expected but it was a little repetitive at times.
I felt more of Olivia’s struggle (and Bennett’s, once he regained his memory) could’ve been highlighted. The sex was hot but it seemed to be all they did besides bicker and rehash the same thing without moving forward.
Cheating in a book (although historical) isn’t a huge trigger but some parts of it hit close to home.
If cheating is a sensitive subject for you in your reading them this may not be the book for you.

TW: cheating trope, dealing with loss/ miscarriage

I have a suspicion that Q.B.'s books are just not for me.

I was truly hoping to get an emotional ride with this one. New it was amnesia and cheating, marriage in trouble. What it gave me was two horny MCs who tried to solve their issues either in-between having, thinking or sometimes through having sex. The ratio between plot and smut was just too off for me. The HEA was just too blissful and all the problems were solved in a blink of an eye.

It was a good audio book. I gave it 4 stars because it was a little too fairytale and unbelievable in many parts. It was raw too, and I liked that, but it could have been a little more believable on Olivia's orgasms. Also, the male narrator's female voice drove me crazy. I wish they would have used the woman the whole time.

Great concept but was just a little too... dry?
Plus all the flashbacks were just of them banging. No real substance to make me believe they had a loving marriage. And the dude didn't seem to have a personality outside of his wife.
It's aight, but could have been a lot better.

This was my first QB Tyler book. I had heard good things about this author. The book has an interesting start and initially it's satisfying to see that Bennet is so devoted and remorseful about cheating, but at some point all the evidence that he loved her and made his life about her becomes a little too over the top and perfect as if the author is trying to build this fantasy of someone who was so in love with his woman that everything was about her, yet he cheated on her continuously when she got depressed over miscarriages. I didn't feel uplifted by the story and found myself avoiding finishing it because it was kind of a downer mixed with hot sex scenes in present and past which felt kind of weird to me. I stopped listening 1/2 way through. I think this would really appeal to the right person/audience though. I just wasn't that person.
