About this audiobook

A suspenseful and romantic space opera; love and loyalty are tested, and battle lines are drawn - amongst the stars and inside their own minds.

Chief Counsel Ariadne Corinth has just found out her long-time lover, the powerfully gifted Chief Counsel Kristov Haydn, has died. Newly evolved psychically gifted humans have been sent by the Homeworld on a space mission aboard two distinct Nests..

Relationships between the Light Nest and the Dark Nest have faltered and Ariadne is sure there is something insidious behind it. In a matter of hours, Ariadne must find out what really happened to Kristov, unite her people to discover vast new powers the Homeworld denied them, or else submit to genocide.

A nice introduction to a new series... kinda wished it was long to develop the plot more but it was still enjoyable.

I really enjoyed the book enjoyed the writing I thought it was very interesting I probably wasn't so many times anything wrong with them differently I really enjoyed the reader she had an episode where it was needed she deadpanned work was needed so many times so many times our reader will either make the book or they will College submit to not be interesting but this reader does a fine job of keeping it interesting good job is both parts

Oh did I ever struggle with this one. I love the characters, the dynamic, the theatrics, but the plot was on the confusing side. I struggled to grasp the PA and Homeworld stances, perhaps it was just me but it felt as if this was a second in a series rather than the opening of a new world.
