About this audiobook

Jake Silver may not be able to put the memories of his time as a sniper and Navy SEAL behind him, but at least he can put his skills to use as a part of the Jones Inc. rescue team. Saving the life of pediatric heart surgeon Dr. Aria Sinclair on Denali helped too. Now he can't get her out of his head, and when he hears she is in the path of a hurricane down in Key West he can't help but jump on a plane to rescue her.

Aria has dedicated her life to helping children born with defective hearts. After all, she was one of those children. Now driven to succeed, she lives a lonely, stressful life. One she would have lost on Denali if it hadn't been for Jake. Jake is exciting and handsome, but he's also dangerous, and she's already lost one person she loves. She can't bear it again.

It's not until she finds herself trapped in the middle of a category 4 hurricane that she can admit she needs Jake desperately. With their very survival in the balance, can they hope for a second chance at life . . . and love?

3.5-3.75 stars (rating shown may vary depending on site)I've read quite a few books by this author including the first book in this series (and I think I won the third book from the series in a give-away and read it before reading book 2).Perhaps I've just read too much in this genre recently. It's getting harder for the story to impress me enough to earn a 4 or 5 rating. This one is more than a 3 but I'm not quite sure it's a 4.This book picks up after Aria's and Jake's encounter in the hotel room in Alaska. Both are still struggling with their identities to some extent and maybe that is one of the themes: that we have to know and love ourselves before we can love someone else. Aria's still kind of divided thinking about having her sister Kia's heart and sometimes doing things "for Kia" rather than for herself. Jake's still struggling with thinking he's to blame for many things (his sister Hannah's disappearance as a child, shooting a young boy that he thought was going to blow up his teammates, etc.) and thinking he's not redeemable.WARNING: SPOILERS MAY FOLLOW. READ ON AT YOUR OWN DISCRETION.There were a lot of times I wanted to shake Aria and get her to stop running away, to wake up and see the good man in front of her who was interested in having a relationship with her. There were times I wanted to yell at both Aria and Jake and just tell them to talk to each other and share the inner thoughts that we as readers were privy to but that they weren't sharing with each other. Often one was assuming something about the other that wasn't true. I enjoyed meeting some of the Miami people--the good ones anyway--Mimi and Yolanda (Yolanda's death shocked me. I wasn't expecting it at all.), Angel (I'm glad she's going to help Mimi), Bailey and his family and their puppy (though it was a bit odd that Jake managed to rescue the dog, then the dog's owner, then the dog owner's dad all in a short space of time and that all 3 end up in the same place. Even Preston. Hagan--Well, I had hoped that Jake was wrong about him. There's still an overarching storyline featuring Ham that isn't totally resolved. Someone's after Aggie (Ham's daughter) for an unknown reason, and Ham is still hoping that his wife Signe wasn't killed in the yacht explosion that revealed Aggie as his daughter. I think that gets more play in the third book in the series but I can't really remember.

This book is definitely packed with adventure. Once the storms start, it seems like they blow through one after another. Aria and Jake both have a lot of past baggage. The author does a good job helping the reader to see the internal struggle both Aria and Jake have with the heavy guilt they have unsuccessfully tried to overcome. I appreciated the wisdom shared with Aria and Jake from other minor characters throughout the story. It was encouraging. I also enjoyed the second story weaved throughout this book about Ham and what happened with Signe. This is an interesting mystery that keeps the reader guessing. I enjoyed reading this book and thought it was a fun, engaging story.***I received this complimentary copy from Revell. I was not required to write a positive review. All opinions are my own.

    Jake is great at what is he does a part of the rescue team Jones Inc including rescuing Aria. When he finds a chance to do at again as a hurricane is heading to Key West he does not hesitate. Aria though is not as convinced. As the hurricane comes close I liked seeing how they began to relate better to each each other and learned to overcome the barriers that brought them together, but yet apart the first time the met. I liked feeling like I was there as a part of the excitement and uncertainty that they had to go through as the story evolved. I received a copy of the book to read, the review is mine;

The Heart of a Hero by Susan May Warren is the second book in her Global Search and Rescue series. Ex-Navy SEAL, Jake Silver, acts instinctively and sorts out the consequences later. Working for Jones Inc. Jake helped rescue Dr. Aria Sinclair on Denali. Now he he’s in Florida rescuing her from a Category 4 hurricane. With their lives hanging in the balance will they be able to overcome their fears and self-doubts? This book references book one quite a bit. There are some things you have no clue what they are talking about if you haven’t read the preceding book. But if you can overlook that then you’ll enjoy this story. Jake and Aria’s self-doubts seemed to rule theirs until they finally figured out that God is in control! The adventure was non-stop. Jake truly was a hero. I thought the side story should have been developed more. Hopefully it will continue in the next book! It was a great read. I received this book from the publisher for my honest review.

"The Way of the Brave" by Susan May Warren is a wonderful, suspenseful, action-packed Christian romance. The main focus of the book is the story of Aria and Jake, who we first met in the previous book as side characters. (Note: Although I read and enjoyed the first book, I think this one works just fine as a stand-alone. Enough information is provided to fill the reader in on how Jake and Aria met, and what happened to them.)The romance is excellent. Both Aria and Jake are well-developed characters with defined personalities and unique flaws. The reader can get to know them separately, and enjoy following along as they spend time together, grow closer, encounter obstacles, and respond to them. Both stay true-to-character, never doing anything that doesn't make sense based on what we know about them. There is plenty of dialog between the main characters, and it's easy to see how and why the two come to care for each other. The dire circumstances they face together serve as another uniting factor. The storyline beyond the romance is fabulous as well! Even though we begin the story at a nice family picnic, danger and adventure are never far away for these characters. Aria quickly finds herself alone and trapped in the middle of a major hurricane, and Jake is off to the rescue. Brace yourself for plenty of action as one dangerous situation follows another.Having lived in Florida for a few years, I can say the author definitely did her research. Everything about the effects of the hurricane making landfall is accurate, as are the depictions of certain people who refuse to evacuate no matter what. I appreciated this attention to detail, and commend the author for getting everything just right. The faith-based part of the story is more subtle here than it was in book 1, but it's definitely present, primarily through the character of Mimi, who always has just the right spiritual insight to share with the others. One final note: there is a small side-plot involving Ham from book 1 heading off to research something that started in the earlier volume. Just enough information is included about this to set up the next volume in the series, and I have to say I can't wait to see how everything is resolved! All if all, five out of five slices of yummy pepper-jack!

I don't think I have ever encountered a bad book by Susan May Warren! I fell in love with her when I read the Deep Haven Series and then discovered other authors and had not picked up one of her books until this one and OH MY GOSH!! I am so glad I did!!! I now must back track and get all of them starting with the first book in this series The Way of the Brave. A Heart of a Hero definitely picks up where the previous book ended and although I did not feel lost when reading it, it definitely would have helped to know where the story of Jake and Aria begins. But if you happen to pick it up without the first one, you should be okay! There is definitely so much more going on in this story than just Jake and Aria's story but lets start with them. Jake is the perfect hero. Literally he jumps into the heart of danger without hesitation. You can tell from the first chapter that he is a guy that will give you the shirt off his back and help out. And this is not because he is a trained SEAL its just the was his heart and mind function. He's also a hurt soul, who blames himself for something that happens to his sister when he was younger and throughout the story he is seeking redemption he just doesn't know how to fully give in to the One who truly provides it. He feels unworthy.Aria is a top surgeon still struggling with the fact that her twin died and gave he heart to Aria. She is a hurting soul as well and confused about the choices she has made and has to make for her career. She is given a vacation of sorts to the Keys and although reluctantly at first she goes and tries to relax but also forget how much she is captivated by handsome Jake. SheThis story also introduces to a few characters. Mimi who not only refuses to leave Key West during the hurricane but also her granddaughter Yola. Mimi is full of faith and knows that everything happens according to God's plan. She plays a key role in helping Jake restore his faith in God. We also meet Angel, a pregnant young girl who seems to be living in a youth hostel in the Keys but is abandoned by her boyfriend (Jake of course finds her). We also meet Jake's family, his sisters and parents and we find the reason why Jake feels like he's not worthy of redemption. His sister Hannah. I won't tell you too much so you can find out for yourself when you read the story but I HAVE SO MANY QUESTIONS regarding his family and even a few theories SO I am hoping that Susan May Warren will either delve more into his family in the next book or perhaps have a spin-off series based on Jake's sisters... seriously A LOT was going on there! While all of that is going on the story of Ham starts developing as he finds out he is a father and has a little girl to take care of and Signe his wife who has not seen in a while and is believed to be dead.... I now am anxiously awaiting for book 3 of this series to find out more about his story!!Although this story is definitely action packed and suspenseful the love element is definitely there and its absolutely dreamy!!! But best of all is that God's redemption is very clearly defined and stated throughout the story. Susan May warren does an excellent job at infusing her faith into her characters and the story and helps you see that without God we don't truly live.I highly recommend you read this book and if you can get the first one make sure you do so!! If you love suspense romantic stories this will definitely be a good read for you!Disclosure: I received a copy of this book through the Revell. I was not required to post a positive review. Title: The Heart of a Hero (Global Search & Rescue #2)Author: Susan May WarrenPages: 368Year: 2020Publisher: RevellMy rating: 5 out of 5 stars.Susan May Warren writes a gripping tale, and the characters are so well crafted that a reader would be tempted to forget that they are reading a work of fiction. The first book in the series, The Way of the Brave, was a little difficult for me to read with all the naming of climbing equipment that overwhelmed me. However, in the sequel, The Heart of a Hero, I found the themes of redemption, forgiveness, searching, and facing danger head on to be quite enthralling! While many could read this as a stand-alone and enjoy it without question, it did help to be familiar with characters who once again appear in the sequel. The plot is rich with tension and riveting scenes where the possibility of death is palpable and I loved being, in my mind, in Key West, Florida! There are some technical terms for catamaran sailing but for me that didn’t distract from the story. With this book focusing on Jake and Aria, we get more insight into those whom we met in the first book. We see more of their past and how it impacted them, then proceed to read how these two move forward in their relationship. There are points in the story that are heart moving and other parts that bring a high-tension to a scene that kept me turning pages.I hope that audiences will consider reading the first book of the series as named above and then read the sequel. There is a third installment, The Price of Valor, coming out in the fall of 2020.Note: The opinions shared in this review are solely my responsibility.

The Heart of a Hero is the second book in the Global Search and Rescue series by Susan May Warren. I’m a huge fan of books that come in series – especially from authors I enjoy. Although you don’t need to read the first one in order to follow this story line, I would recommend it. It will give you insight into the bits of backstory that are sprinkled throughout the pages. You can expect a lot of action and adventure with the main characters being a retired Navy SEAL and a pediatric heart surgeon. Then mix in a category 5 hurricane in Key West and you get a page turner. This read will keep you on your toes with the adventure and action around every bend. Susan May Warren always does a great job of blending faith, suspense and romance. You will find all of those within The Heart of a Hero. The books ending sets up the next book in the series The Price of Valor.

The Heart of a Hero by Susan May Warren is the second action packed book in a series. I had not read the first book before reading this one, but even though there were some details I may have been better able to understand had I read book one, I was able to easily follow this story. There are two stories happening at the same time in this book, the main storyline follows Jake and Aria who met during a mountain rescue where both opened up more than they would have done under normal circumstances. After returning, they are both unable to forget the experience or each other. They are thrown into another tense situation when Jake follows Aria to Florida where she is vacationing and a hurricane is looming. So much happens after that and the question is, will they make it out alive. The second storyline involves Ham who has just learned he has a daughter and that the wife he thought was dead is now presumed dead for a second time. He is worried about being a good father as well as wondering if his wife is truly dead or not. This storyline will continue in book three of the series. This is a Christian fiction/romantic suspense. The characters learn life affirming lessons in the midst of their chaotic experiences. I thought these lessons were well written. I thought the characters were interesting. I did find Jake's character to be somewhat superhuman in all that he endured. Aria also triumphed over so much.I found the action in the story truly suspenseful, but kind of unbelievable in many aspects which is what made this a 4 rather than a 5 star read for me. I do have a desire to go back and read the first book and watch for the third. I will recommend. My thanks to Revell and NetGalley for giving me the opportunity to read this book and offer my unbiased opinion.

Just as I expected—Susan May Warren does not disappoint with The Heart of a Hero. I still haven’t read The Way of the Brave, and though I know the series is likely more enjoyable when read in order, I still enjoyed this second Global Search and Rescue book immensely.Disaster finds former sniper and Navy SEAL Jake Silver and pediatric heart surgeon Aria Sinclair once again. Aria heads to Florida for vacation—just in time for a dangerous hurricane to bear down on the area. Of course, Jake cannot let her face it alone. As the pair faces the challenges of the disaster, their story proves to be action-packed and exciting—with sweet threads of romance and faith. There is a lot to love about The Heart of a Hero, and I cannot wait to read more of the series.I received a complimentary copy of this book and the opportunity to provide an honest review. I was not required to write a positive review, and all the opinions I have expressed are my own.

The Heart of a Hero by Susan May Warren captured my interest immediately with the tension between Aria and Jake. As I read, I didn’t want to put the book down. The action, bravery, and romantic suspense combined to form a gripping storyline. Being from Florida and having lived through multiple hurricanes, I deeply identified with this book. I could visualize the author’s descriptions of the water, the sound, and the damage caused by the powerful storm. I also enjoyed the characters in The Heart of a Hero. I admired how Aria struggled through her issues and came into her own as she embraced her talents, worth, and identity. Despite the external drama of a raging hurricane, plenty of introspective moments made for good character development. Jake had his own issues to work through and overcome, but Aria was the one I felt invested in as a reader. I absolutely loved Mimi and her wisdom. The Heart of a Hero by Susan May Warren is a keeper for my bookshelf and I plan to binge-read the entire series in the future when all the books are published. The Heart of a Hero stands as the second installment in the Global Search and Rescue series. Although some background on Jake and Aria’s relationship is given, I do recommend reading the novels in order as their previous interactions critically affect their relationship in this novel.Disclosure of Material Connection: I was provided a copy of this book by the author or publisher. All opinions in this review are my own.

I didn't realize this was the second book in a series when I requested it, so I waited to read this book until I read the first one. I’m so glad I did! I enjoyed the book so much more than I would have if I didn’t have the back story. I actually liked this installment better than the first. This was a new to me author, and I was pleasantly surprised with the story. I will read the last book in the series as well. I definitely want to find out what happens next.

"I know grace is difficult to accept. It's in our nature to want to bargain for our redemption, as if we have a stake in it. But it's an all-or-nothing proposal. You can do nothing but receive it. All or nothing. I am forgiven. I am clean. I am loved."Susan May Warren yet again weaves a heart-pounding tale laced with romance and brimming with spiritual truths but this time set on an island off Florida in the midst of a hurricane. This is book 2 in the series and I suggest reading the series in order to catch and appreciate all the nuisances in the plot and character development. Eagle-eyes will see some neat comments about characters from her previous two series (Montana Marshalls and Montana Rescue), which is super-fun for fans of the author. The adrenaline-filled action and suspense come from surviving a hurricane and the aftermath on an island, which is a bit different from scaling an icy mountain in Alaska (which happened in The Way of the Brave). Jake proves himself a true hero who "does the hard thing despite the cost" while scrounging for supplies, helping Aria stabilize the wounded, fighting off bad guys, and rescuing multiple people stranded during the storm. Jake is impulsive, smart, wickedly resourceful, a man of action but unexpectedly sensitive and tender. Yet he has a troubled past and needs to accept forgiveness. I really enjoyed getting to know Jake's large family and hope that we'll see more of the Silver family in the future books.Aria is a pediatric cardiac surgeon who excels at work but lacks confidence in who she is in her personal life. Haunted by her twin sister's memory who lived life so differently, she must come to terms with who God has made her to be. Jake and Aria's love is passionate and all-consuming but also self-sacrificial and they challenge each other to be better and to strive for more. And Ham! I am hanging onto the edge of my seat for Ham's full story to unfold. Some of his backstory is told in this book and that's just a carrot dangling until The Price of Valor releases in October!I don't know how Susan May Warren does it (and I say this every time I read her newest release), but she ramps up the quality of her novels with each new book. If you enjoy contemporary romance with plenty of action, you will love this book and series. The book will grab you from the first page with its raw, heartfelt writing, intense action sequences, deeply-layered and complex characters worthy of your love, and spiritual truths that we all need to remember.I received a copy of the book from Revell/Baker Publishing via JustRead Publicity Tours and was under no obligation to post a positive review. Thank you in advance to the publisher, Revell (by way of a Library Thing win), for sending me a complimentary advanced review copy. A positive review was not required and all words are my own. Earlier this year I had been chosen through the Revell Reads reviewer program to review the first book in this series, The Way of the Brave. Since I really enjoyed that, I was looking forward to this book to see where the series was going. As I was going to review this anyway, I signed up for the JustRead blog and review tour. The Way of the Brave introduced readers to Hamilton “Ham” Jones’ private Global Search and Rescue (SAR) Team consisting of Ham, Jake, and a reluctant Orion Starr. The three men, former Navy, are also friends. The Way of the Brave was Orion and Jenny’s story. If you haven’t read that one, I highly suggest it as parts of that novel are included in this plot line and could be essential. Where that one had a lot of climbing jargon that could make it difficult for the reader – this one has boating, medical, and diving terminology. This book doesn’t have as much technical jargon as its predecessor did though. As I was familiar with the medical jargon, that part didn’t confuse me. And, I was able to get through the other technical jargon. It shows that Warren has indeed researched her subject for technical accuracy. Readers who enjoy climbing, boating, or medical will probably enjoy the attention to detail. Some books that are part of a series work great as standalone reads. Thus you don’t have to read the first one or subsequent ones to get a clear and connected picture. For me, this one does not work as a standalone. And, as parts of it deal with Ham, the plot of book #3 – The Price of Valor – is closely woven into this story almost from the beginning. As a result, it would be best to read all of these together or in close proximity such as their release date. Like The Way of the Brave, the cover features that story’s hero on it. This is Jake Silver and Aria Sinclair’s story. This picks up about two (2) weeks after the incident on the Denali (The Way of the Brave) and also after Ham left Alaska and went to pick up a daughter he didn’t know he had. Already the reader, if they have read the first book, has been introduced to the trio of men as well as Jenny and Aria. Sasha, one of the women with Jenny and Aria on that fateful Denali trip, isn’t featured too much in this book (she doesn’t appear in the end of it). Orion and Jenny are mostly M.I.A from this story as well. Told in third person POV, this alternates from Jake/Aria to Ham’s search for his wife (and his daughter’s mother), Signe in Russia. Bouncing between the Jake/Aria story to the Ham/Signe story was a bit confusing. Some flashbacks blended in with current time and it made it somewhat difficult to follow. There are also references to someone the team is looking for from a military rescue that occurred prior to the series, this is also mentioned in the previous book as well. These multiple plots can, for some readers, make the story seem “busy” and cluttered with too much going on.Jake is trying to forget what happened with Aria in an Alaskan Hotel room, and she is too. After losing a neonatal patient, she then gets a chance to go on a conference. And, it is that conference that will have her in need of Jake’s services, much like when she was on Denali. A hurricane is heading Aria’s way. A cryptic and erroneous text message from her, along with a category 4 hurricane heading in her direction has Jake jumping in for another rescue. Unlike the previous novel though, Jake is this rescue by himself. And, the reader soon learns why he does what he does – it is because of a sister that went missing and is still missing. I really hope the writer builds on that storyline for the third book as I can tell there is a mystery behind it. It would be very interesting to see where this is going or could go. Aria has her own faults and frailties to contend with – namely her heart, and not figuratively. It is quite literal in that she is battling her heart. In the first book, it was disclosed that Aria’s twin, Kia, was killed in an accident and as a result Aria got her twin sister’s heart as her own was defective. Aria is battling the level head side of herself and the adventure seeking side of her sister’s heart. This slight plot line makes one consider the mental aspect of organ donation. Aria feels like she is two different people at times. This is also what leads her to the complicated relationship she does and doesn’t have with Jake. They have a lot in common, yet are so different. Readers will finally learn the reason for Jake’s departure from the Navy SEALs six months earlier, and it was one I wouldn’t have guessed. This emphasizes the importance of mental health in the military. The rescue does not go at all the way it should with damage from the storm, an electrocution, and other surprises that Warren throws at the characters and readers. It is almost like a wild thrill ride that lasts longer than three minutes. The action and description of the hurricane’s damage is realistic and vivid. The reader could almost feel like they’re going through it along with the characters. In addition to the fast-paced drama, there is the human element of the “evacuees” and what their parts are in this story. This is where the character development both blossoms and fails. I was frustrated with Aria at how much she was conflicted. There were times, that despite her brilliance in her field, I wanted to shake her. Not that I would’ve dated Jake (he’s a bit too young for me), there was nothing wrong with him and even Aria knew that – she just kept pushing him away. While the independence was a good thing, and I didn’t want her to be clingy, there was a happy medium to be found. And, for me, it took her way too long to see that. If the covers are any indication as to who these guys are, he’s the most handsome of the three (Orion, Ham, Jake). The other minor characters were beautiful and charming, except some “criminals” that were thrown in. This is definitely a fast-paced, high-action story. Danger is added in chapter 10 with a character I didn’t trust from the beginning of his introduction. I was hoping to get more background into a few characters that were introduced here. I’d like to see what was going on there as well as an open plot line with the mentioned “criminals”.With everything going on with the hurricane, I would’ve liked to see more focus on those characters as I feel there was a bit too much focus on the Ham/Signe story line, despite how fascinating and complex it seemed. The background suspense of the rescue and hurricane was enough to carry this story. One character that was introduced was a pregnant girl by the name of Angel, who had decided to name her baby Hannah after her friend. This is why I’m eager to read the third story. I just have a feeling something is going on with that. Or at best I’d love to see where that leads. Readers will get a sad death in this story line. It was one I didn’t see coming and it is still shocking. Not too violent, but shocking none the less. This was truly an engaging and entertaining read. I could almost see it being played out as a movie. As this is distributed by Revell, a Christian/Faith themed publisher, the story has a lot of references to God and faith. This has far more references than its predecessor, but these references are not key elements of the plot. They are still strong and used for themes of salvation, forgiveness, and redemption. While not many in the beginning, by half way they do get more frequent. Fans of the author and those who’ve read the previous book might enjoy this follow up. They will definitely need to catch the third and final installment, The Price of Valor as well. There is a big reveal at the end of book two about Signe and readers will be stunned. For those not wanting spoilers, I would recommend avoiding the blurb for book three until you’ve read The Way of the Brave and The Heart of a Hero. This was slow at first for me to get into, it did start picking up after the 2/3 mark. Overall I did enjoy this book and hope that some of the plot lines and sub-plots introduced here are resolved or continued in the third and final book which releases later this year.

I received an ARC in exchange for an unbiased review.Jake Silva and Aria Sinclair crossed paths in the past and almost had a relationship. When they find themselves crossing paths again, the chemistry is still there, but each of them have reasons for not giving it a chance. Throw in a hurricane, international intrigue, and interesting secondary characters, and you've got yourself quite an entertaining book filled with mystery, adventure, and romance. And a lot of heart. This was my first Susan May Warren book, and I thoroughly enjoyed it. Warren is a good writer, and she maintains a solid pace throughout this entire book. I am not usually a fan of Christian fiction because I usually feel like the references to God are gratuitous and don't fit, but Warren convinced me otherwise. I enjoyed how deftly she wove her characters' faith into each situation. It was seamless and appropriate and felt right.Although I have not read the first book in this Global Search and Rescue Series, I was able to follow along in this book #2. There was enough background information thrown in to help me understand what happened in book #1 -- and it intrigued me enough to want to go back and read #1. And the ending? Let's just say I want to get my hands on #3 as soon as it comes out.

I always enjoy Susan May Warren's books and this one was no exception. It is a fast-paced, action-packed tale that had me not wanting to put it down. This book picks up right where the first in the series left off with Aria and Jake having returned from Alaska. They are soon plunged into many dangerous situations that they must get through together. This is a story of accepting God's forgiveness and grace and it pushes the fact that all are worthy of others love. It ends in a way to set up the next book in the series and I can't wait to read it as well. I received a copy of this book from the publisher. All opinions are my own.

This is the first book by Susan May Warren that I've read. It was fast paced with Jake and Aria dealing with one crisis after another. The background that was given was sufficient to understand the history these two characters had. They are both dealing with issues from their past while trying to rescue people during a hurricane. The ending led right into the premise for the next book. I enjoyed reading this and will go back and read the first book in this series.

I enjoyed this book but felt there was too much detail in the sailing techniques as it made the book drag in places. That being said, it was very suspenseful and I couldn't put it down the further I got into the book because I wanted to see what would happen next. I also read the first book in this series and would recommend the book and series to others.

A great idea - except for the Category 5 hurricane and the fact that Aria will not give up on her motel manager when she collapses.Through a string of events, they meet the same people at different times in different situations. Aria makes it to the hospital with her patient. No one is there, they’ve evacuated. Jake finally finds the motel she was staying in but, of course; she’s gone.I should know better than to start a book when I go to bed! I was up half the night reading and had to make myself put it down. Stress, romance, missing friends and a puppy named Ringo make this an unforgettable tale with another to follow. Ms Warren, hurry up! Out on June 2.
