About this audiobook

Once upon a time I was a girl who believed in love and happily ever afters.

Now the only thing I believe in is revenge.

Unfortunately for me, there’s only one man willing to help me. Hook. I should have known it wouldn’t be out of the goodness of his heart. He doesn’t have one. No, Hook wants his ring on my finger and me on my knees before him—and he won’t take no for an answer.

I’m willing to pay any price in order to bring our mutual enemy down…even if it means I lose my soul in the bargain.

A Worthy Opponent
Author

Katee Robert

New York Times and USA TODAY bestselling author Katee Robert learned to tell her stories at her grandfather's knee. Her 2015 title, The Marriage Contract, was a RITA finalist, and RT Book Reviews named it "a compulsively readable book." When not writing sexy contemporary or romantic suspense, she spends her time playing imaginary games with her children, driving her husband batty with what-if questions, and planning for the inevitable zombie apocalypse.

I think Katee’s world building is awful and barely makes any sense. She incorporates Greek mythology and Disney characters horribly together it makes no sense.

Most of her plots are similar to the point she’s running them into the ground. Example in this book Hook has to marry Tink to save her ass from Peter. Just like in another series where Eros has to marry Pysche to save her from his mother.

In both of these books marriage is poorly justified. Also in both of these books where the women are supposed to be strong protagonist they are the exact opposite. Roberts does an awful job at creating strong female protagonist but does a great job at just telling the audience they are strong.

Am I obsessed with this series? Yes. Am I sorry about that? No. I loved the relationship between Tink and Hook in this one. Of course, Hades pissed me off a little bit, but that's how he is. I am absolutely adoring all of the characters in these books and I can't wait to read more!

Book 3 in the Wicked Villains series. This was a good story centred around Hook, Peter and Tink. Good story, not my favourite but still a great read. ?

I think I'm going to have to buy this series! This was another great book in it! And I'm pleased to report that I felt no confusion at Peter being the bad guy and Hook being a good guy. Hook killed Peter, so I hope he and Tink will live happily ever after!

First of all, think and hook are an interesting couple in this book. There is a lot of interesting things that happen between them so if you are into steamy scenes this is the book for you. I do feel like this book could’ve been better in details wise don’t get me wrong I love this book, it’s my second favorite of the series I just think there could’ve been more action between pan, hook and tink. I do recommend listening to it though.

Es un libro que pudo haber sido fantástico sin embargo la “historia” no estuvo; tuvo tanto enfoque en las escenas sexuales que perdió el sentido. Triste por de mas!

Tink and Hook are easily my favorite couple in the entire series! I enjoyed their grumpy-sunshine dynamic.

DNF. I loved Tink in the previous books as strong, independent and sure of herself. She
came off none of those things but only when she was being bratty. Disappointed wouldn’t recommend this book out of the series
