About this audiobook

Boss Rule #1: Never sleep with your employee.

Apparently, rules aren’t my thing.

Because the moment I wake up naked next to my hot-as-hell new employee,

I want to go for round two.

I'm not exactly Prince Charming. Some call me The Wolf.

I don’t do love, and I sure as hell don’t do forever.

But one look at her, and I become a one-woman man.

She has a British accent and a car that won’t start.

I’m in a rush, so I do what I need to do and send her on her way—sure I’ll never see her again.

Then she shows up at my company to interview for a new position.

What are the odds?

So I hire the long-legged beauty from the UK.

The guys are circling her like vultures.

But she’s my prey.

In six months, her visa will expire, and she’ll be back overseas.

What can a little down-and-dirty fun hurt?

But one kiss turns into two, then three, then more.

Suddenly, I’m defenseless against her charms.

But the second I start to picture a future,

She quits.

Vanishes—without warning or explanation.

She’s left back to the UK…

I know I need her back.

And I only have one chance to make things right.

I did not like the book at all, there was just a lovestory builded up by nothing.. they where suddently so in love, but they only hooked up twice.. and the whole book was mainly describing their thoughts in their conversations, rather than actually talk. That gives me so little to go on when they suddently are madly deeply in love.. cliche..

    3.5 Stars for me!

My rating range of this story... 2.5 - 3.5 Stars
    If significant, why?

    Main Character Ratings...
    H = 6/10
    h = 6/10

    Was cheating involved? No
Any major triggers to be aware of?

    Scenes with heat... Plenty
What point does it start? 25%
How much of the story? 15%
    Anything beyond M/F? No
    If yes, explained

    Heat Rating... 7/10
Clean or Fade to Black - 1 or 2
    Normal to Descriptive 3-5
    Detailed Descriptive Sex - 6-7
Um, Wow, Beyond Descriptive Sex - 8 or above

Was there so much sex or unrealistic sex that you rolled your eyes and/or skipped forward? Almost

The back story... The h needs a good job to extend her green card to stay in the US. On her way to a big job interview, her car conks out halfway and the H stops to assist. She gets there late and is about to be hauled away by security when the H comes out and agrees to interview her.

The Romance... A but difficult to see as he was constantly saying I cannot be in a relationship and she kept saying that he will never want me. Grrrr

The drama explosion... The h makes assumptions after a conversation with the H and runs home to England.

Did it feel real or contrived? A bit contrived.
    Was it OTT? Yes
    Separation involved? Yes
Was it resolved properly or rushed? Ok

Final Notes... This story mixes multiple tropes yet does an OK job of putting it together. I did skip the continuous second guessing that occurred before and after each statement

    HEA or HFN? HEA

(Joel & Charlie): Joel is a bachelor billionaire who swears he'll never fall in love or get married. Charlie in America on a work visa bus has lost her job and now must find another one in order to remain in the states. A chance meeting brings the two together on several occasions and she ends up working for his company. The attraction between the two is strong and too hard to fight, but he's her boss. These two are a mess of hot sex, laughter and lack of communication. In the meantime we have members of the MC from the previous books jumping in the scenes making fun and driving Joel nuts. It's kind of weird that all these billionaires are members of an MC that does not always do things that are legal but whatever. I do enjoy the chemistry between Joel and Charlie and everyone loves an "AHA!" moment. Not bad.

Slow in parts. London accent not close....but she did try to use some phrases correctly.
