      I really wanted to like this, but it was so cheesy and cringey. The only good parts were the narrators.

      I loved this book. I can’t wait to read the next book in the series. I loved this offshoot.

      I'm not sure how I feel about this book because chapter 2 was so funny I was screaming in laughter about what unravelled in Zora's office when she had unexpected visitor's so I was expecting a lot more than what I got. As the book went on it became a bit of a cookie cutter romance novel which was predictable and unoriginal.
      The two narrator's are my top 1 male/female narrator's and I'm pretty sure this book would have been a DFN scenario if it wasn't for the two of them. I didn't hate the book and I've certainly listened to worse, but I'd find it hard to recommend.

      I haven’t finished this, but I always prefer African American characters to be voiced by African American voiceover artist. TSU is an HBCU. I can’t imagine the staff or main character, Zora, sounding like this.
