He has published extensively in his research area. Beneath the Peaks is the fourth book in the Redmond and Jennifer McClain series, the first of which, Murder in Pittsburgh, appeared in 2005. Redmond, a university professor, and his talented artist wife, Jennifer find all manner of mysteries interesting, but in the tales of their adventures the mysteries involve unsolved crimes.
