After moving to the United States, he received his...view moreFlamur Vehapi is a writer and poet from Kosova where he was born and later exiled by the brutal Serbian regime in the late 1990s. After moving to the United States, he received his Associate’s Degree from Rogue Community College in Medford, Oregon, and his Bachelor’s from Southern Oregon University where he majored in Psychology with a minor in History. In 2013 he received his Master’s from Portland State University in Conflict Resolution with a thesis on Conflict Resolution in Islam. His books thus far are Sfidat Jetike (The Challenges of Life) published in 2002 in Albanian, and The Alchemy of Mind published in 2008 in English, both of which are in poetry. Flamur currently lives with his wife in Southern Oregon.view less
