She grew up in Kansas and Omaha and has retired from a 25-year career in commercial real estate. She and husband, Ron, now live in Naples, Florida. They spend summers in Omaha to be near their two sons and five grandchildren and often stay at the original family cattle ranch on Deep Creek, near Manhattan in the rugged Flint Hills of Kansas.view less
