- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5I first read this book in decades ago when it was newly published. This is when I found out about Dr. Raymond Moody and NDEs. It had a huge impact on me. Eventually I had my own spontaneous NDE-like (without dying) experiences and have done many podcasts. Now, I'm revisiting this book. It's a great miracle story and powerful teaching.

- Rating: 3 out of 5 stars3/5If you read Journey of Souls by M. Newton (which I would definitely recommend) half the book is just a repeat of this book. This book also has dipped away from the spiritual into the religious side of things. It was if the author was trying to make since of the Christian Holy Bible. And also giving basic information on things like how much water to drink, how often to exercise, etc... based on standard US Doctors recommendations instead of what he learned from his experience. Overall felt less like recommendations were based solely on a fact based account of his experiences.
