      A super hot sexy fast read. She's been crushing on him forever, he's kept her squarely in the friend zone. But she has a plan to move things into the lovers zone. Will he go for it?? Pick up this one and find out, it's worth your time. I highly recommend it.

      Hilarious and Sexy! What to do when your next door neighbor friend-zones you and all you can think of is how to hook up with him? You write a script. Yep!       A fun erotic novella. Jay's saucy manhandling of Eden is very hot and worth the price of admission.

      So, this was a very short novella that took me just over half an hour to read. It isn’t something to read if you want a fully fleshed out story as it is literally a snippet, more a beginning of their tale. I wanted something more, something more substantial but what I got was a seriously hot little novella with a lot of sex and not much else.

      I enjoyed the premise well enough. The plot that she wrote to get him in her bed was hilarious, pure cheese factor, and I did enjoy the fact that she knew what she wanted from a lover. He was a dreamy, slightly dark hero, who was afraid that his edges were too rough for her. Together, did I believe in them as a couple? A little bit. I thought they could complement each other but to be honest the only thing that I can comment on is there compatibility in bed. That I liked.

      This story is one giant sex scene with little bits of plot thrown in as filler. This isn’t a bad thing; it is just what it is. The sex itself is very well written and very dirty; it was certainly something that left you needing a cold shower. The heroine like very hot, dirty sex and the hero was more than happy to oblige. The scenes were scorching hot....if you like it smutty, this may be one for you.

      This was a very short and sexy novella that is pure heat. If you want something to get you in the mood or you just need a short fix of smut, this is truly one you should try.

      Aspiring actress Eden Carver has had a thing for her neighbor and best friend Jay Bennett for a while. Jay Bennett has had a thing for Eden Carver since he met her. They have mutually "friend zoned" each other, afraid to cross the line into something else because they don't won't to mess up their friendship, but there are also other reasons.....darker reasons. Eden Carver has secret fetishes and desires.......things she has been afraid to share with anyone. Jay Bennett also has desires. He's dominant, and likes things hard and rough, definitely not something a sweet farm girl from Iowa would like....or so he thinks. With the help of her friends, Eden concocts a scheme to have her "way with Jay," a scheme which changes everything for both of them......but will these changes tear them apart or bring them closer together? Hold Me Down Hard is a short 51 page novella that is hot, smexy, and a little naughty. It is short, but there is a lot of steam in those 51 pages. It will definitely get your heart pumping and cause you to have hot flashes that have nothing to do with menopause. Hold Me Down Hard is the perfect little short read for when you are looking for something flirty, sexy, and hot, and don't have the time to spend on a full length novel. *This is a very adult story and only appropriate for those 18 and over*

      Cathryn Fox’s Hold Me Down Hard is a novella and even though it’s a light read, it’s a sizzling page turner. By the end, you’ll be looking at a police uniform a little differently.Eden is an actress and keeps her feelings for her neighbor Jay a secret. With the help of her friends, they invent a scenario to get Jay to see Eden as more than a friend. On the other side of the hallway, Jay has a nightly ritual of checking in on Eden. He tries to convince himself it is because he’s a cop and not because of his growing feelings for her. When Eden convinces him to help her audition for an upcoming part she covets, Jay realizes he’s her ideal partner. Will Eden be able to seduce Jay or will he run to the nearest door when he realizes what she secretly desires?I have a couple favorite scenes, but I have to say the first time Eden and Jay go over her script had me laughing especially his remarks regarding Eden’s attempt at script writing. The chemistry between the two is sizzling and while we don’t have in-depth characterization, Fox establishes well round characters early on. Eden is a strong heroine and isn’t afraid to go after what she wants. Jay is protective towards her, but only because he’s a cop and he knows the world can be pretty ugly. He’s seen things most of us can only imagine.We can identify with Eden and the way people perceive us. How many of us have been told by friends that their initial overall impression was different from what it is now? Eden goes through that with Jay and he keeps her at arm’s length because she’s a farm girl from Iowa and he believes she deserves something he can’t give her. Of course when he attempts to give her what he thinks she needs, he fails. Things fall into place once they have a discussion on what they want. This was a big step for Eden because she’s been burned in the past. It was great seeing Jay step up to the plate and soothe her fears.I really enjoyed Hold Me Down Hard. If you’re looking for a quick hot read, this is your book.

    Chapter One

    Eden Carver dealt the remaining cards from the deck and glanced at her three friends as they gathered around her small kitchen table for their weekly game of poker. She took note of the nearly empty glasses and made a move to get up.

    Anyone want another… Her voice fell off when the sound of her neighbor’s Jeep pulling into their shared parking lot drew her attention.

    She dropped back into her chair and noted the warm shivers of delight raining down her spine as she strained to hear her best friend’s footfalls on the stairs. The echo of his size-twelve boot hitting the first step quickened her breath. As she listened, there was nothing she could do to keep her pulse from racing, nothing she could do to prevent her nipples from pressing insistently against her thin white tank top.

    Hello, earth to Eden, Janie said, waving her arms in front of Eden’s face to pull her attention back to the game at hand.

    As a humid summer breeze fluttered the lacy curtains over her sink, Eden blinked her mind back into focus and met Janie’s shrewd glance. While the four girls sitting around the table were all actresses, having met on a movie set after Eden moved to the Big Apple three years ago, Janie was by far the most flamboyant and loudest of the bunch.

    Eden shook her head. Sorry, where was I? she asked, with only half her attention on her cards. The other half was still on her neighbor and how she’d do just about anything to get a glimpse of him in his police uniform before he peeled it from his rock-hard body and called it a night.

    God, if he only knew what it did to her, knew how many times she’d lain in bed and conjured naughty scenarios with the big bad cop in his work wear—doing delicious things to her with his cuffs—he’d surely think she was a deviant
