After forming an unlikely friendship some two years previously with Professor Ian Robertson M.D (retired) and John Drake S.A.S/S.I.S (retired), the experienced crime reporter Charlie Foster teams up with his friends again to investigate the reappearance of folklore legend 'Spring-heeled Jack'.
