About this ebook

Having worked in the health and fitness field for 16 years (5 years specifically as a weight loss counselor), I educated people about health and fitness. I, however, also learned a lot from my clients and have developed a plan that can help those who have struggled to lose weight and keep it off, as well as people who just want to lead a more healthful life. Even if you've failed at weight loss and/or exercise programs in the past, you can be successful with the guidance provided in this book. Not a diet or quick weight loss plan, this is a balanced, achievable approach to diet and exercise. Learn how to develop the habits of nutritious eating and regular exercise without deprivation or pain. It's the next best thing to having your own personal weight counselor and exercise trainer!

Are you one of the millions of people who struggle with weight gain? Do you feel bad about yourself and beat yourself over the head because you can’t lose weight? Perhaps you manage to lose the weight and then regain it all, plus some more. Pretty discouraging, I know.

There are diet plans, diet pills, crash diets, low-carb diets, and high-protein diets – pretty much anything that you think of to lose that spare tire around your waist or the bulge in your buns. Americans spend billions of dollars each year on weight loss programs, but, what works? Technically, most of them will, but they might require making huge lifestyle changes in the process.

    A Few Harsh Realities
