Do not read this book if you are a bully! Or maybe you should read it. It might do you good!
If you are tired of bullying, teasing, youth violence, ...
If you are tired of being bullied by the older kids...
If you want to know why bullies do what they do and what you can do, then read this book.
Bullies use their victims fear as weapon. They want you to be scared. They don't want you to tell anyone about their bullying.
As a victim, you don't have to accept their belief that they bully you and hurt you because you did something wrong or didn't do something. That's not true. It's not right or fair either. It's just the bullies attitude, part of their abusive behavior. Nobody needs or deserves to be bullied.
Therefore, do not put away this book! It is not your homework! Read it!
Try the ideas in this book. They really work!
The author understands how horrible bullying can be, and how bullying can make you suffer.
This quick help book helps you to understand the important truths about bullies and bullying, and what to do when you are being bullied.
The 2nd edition of this book contains a couple of new chapters: bullying symptoms and how to help bullied kids.
********************
From the author:
This book about bullies and bullied are for children. It's meant to help them to understand the victims, what they feel, what they go through, how they can cope the bullying situation, and also to understand some reasons why someone can become a bully.
From the author:
I was asked about bullying and here are some comments:
Q:Isn't it better that the bully leaves the school and not the victim?
A: Yes, that would be great.
Q:But what if there are many bullies at school?
A: You can wish that the bullies would leave and go somewhere else. But it is not likely to happen if there are several bullies.
Q: Why do you have to find a different school if you are the victim?
A: Sometimes it is just easier to start over somewhere else if the bullying does not stop, and if there are many bullies at school. Also, you will carry the memories of the bullying even if the bully leaves the school. Bad memories stick even if the bully leaves. Sometimes fresh start is all that you need.
