About this ebook

I was born in Texas. I had two brothers and one sister. My mother raised us as a single parent. My father died, when I was young. My mother managed to raise us and work to support the family. I was an avid reader. I could read at the age of four and I have continued my love of reading to this day. Now I reside in California with my family.

Why I Wrote This Book
Organ Transplants was not something I thought would happen in my lifetime. My brother had two kidney transplants at the same time. Then fifteen years later he had a heart transplant.
A love came into my life at the age of sixty five. He had a heart transplant, before I met him. His new heart was from a recipient of a motorcycle accident. Our time together lasted ten years. Death came into his life like a thief and stole him away from me.
It was then that I had remembered my book I had written in the 1970’s. I have lost five members of my family from suicides but that’s another book.
Please remember to donate your organs. An organ card is a card to a new life.
