Bigfoot: The Four Levels of Contact
By Todd Michael
()
About this ebook
In a relatively brief span of time, Todd Michael guided hundreds of skywatch and contact tours for well over 1,000 people. The contact experiences shared with tour participants and friends have been documented for reader's enjoyment in what Todd says is his "contact series."
In his first book of this series, "Alien Contact," Todd included more than 50 real contact experiences to help readers understand what's possible and how it was done. He also discloses common obstacles people face when attempting contact and how to overcome them.
Book two, "Into The Wild," is intended for people who have already made contact or are actively doing so, and may want to move forward in friendship with their visitors. Todd experienced several levels of relationship with various beings and shares some of it here. Again, he's incorporated another batch of 50-plus encounters for readers to learn from.
Now with "Bigfoot," his final book of the trilogy, Todd continues in his usual form sharing his own Bigfoot contacts, many as recently as August, 2012. Graduating from the relationships discussed in his second book to the ultimate human relationship, he says, is with Bigfoot! Within the last 5 years his contact locations include Arizona, California, Montana, New Mexico, and Washington.
People will find the idea that Bigfoot has been interacting with humanity on our level, simply fascinating, with dozens of his own Bigfoot encounters, several of which were face-to-face. "Bigfoot: The Four Levels of Contact" shows how this was done and even compares our social structure to theirs, which ultimately serves as a template for individual contact. The 2012 Special-Edition of Bigfoot contains 100 photos.

Todd has lived in or toured 35 states in the USA as well as 7 foreign countries on 4 continents. He has worked for State and Federal governments and within corporate American franchises. Beginning in 2005, he opened up to what some readers will refer to as a Spiritual Awakening. During this period of his life, Todd engaged other beings in conversation and relationship, as he discusses in his three books. About four years later, Todd landed at the Ye Olde UFO Store in Sedona, Arizona, where he contributed his time and efforts to help curious humans experience contact for themselves, based on his own experiences and understanding as a Skywatch Tour Guide. Todd often shared with his Skywatch groups the idea of moving toward friendship or relationship with other beings – but only when they were ready. To help people see that it’s really possible and that they’re willing to do so, they routinely revealed themselves in person and sometimes allowed their ships to be seen in very close proximity. In several instances, beings were photographed while standing next to someone. “There’s a lot to take in when you want to experience contact first-hand,” he says, “and it’s most definitely life-changing when it happens. You’ll never be the same!” In his three-part contact series, Todd begins by sharing what’s possible in terms of making contact and how he did it, before taking readers into the benefits of relationships with his visitors and finally, the ultimate Human relationship – with Bigfoot! Book 1 – Alien Contact: Former Arizona Tour Guide Tells All Book 2 – Into The Wild: Relationships With Nature & ET Book 3 – Bigfoot: The Four Levels of Contact Each book is available in a text-only version or as a 2012 Special-Edition, which includes photos.

DEDICATIONS
This book is dedicated to those individuals who find the courage to look beyond conditional beliefs and open themselves to new and exciting possibilities.
This book is also dedicated to all beings, whether seen or unseen, who graciously reach out in response to the curious Human in an effort to make contact and forge wonderful and loving relationships with us.
HOW TO READ THIS BOOK
This is the final book of a three-part contact trilogy. As such, the book continues where prior books left off. If you have conceptual questions, please reference the author’s first two books of this series for clarification not provided here.
"Bigfoot" is a term used when speaking in general terms of the encounter. If the being is believed to be a Sasquatch or Ancient One, then it will be stated. For example, if a sagittal crest was observed or if the being had dog or gorilla-appearing facial features, then Sasquatch would be used. If the being had more human features, such as a round head, then Ancient One would be used.
INTRODUCTION
"To find a new mate, you have to get out of the cave and back into the jungle." - Unknown
If you are looking for Bigfoot you have to get out there… or do you? What if Bigfoot came to you, at home, where you live? Is it possible? Some people say it is, including me and yes, we are all speaking from experience!
This wasn’t always the case, at least not for white man.
In more recent times, we can see a clear evolution in communications between the mysterious and elusive creature and those in search of him. It has taken many years for immigrants to the Americas to even consider putting down their guns when venturing into the forest. It appears that someone’s noticed!
Today we hear personal accounts from people who claim to knock a stick against a tree and hear something similar in response. We have also learned of everyday people who have these creatures living in their backyards and routinely interact with them. Others are sharing personal stories of Bigfoot families
who have found refuge living in their barn; and who more or less provide room and board for these forest people. Still others have chosen to put aside the five physical senses and turn to a more evolutionary set of communication tools when interacting with these creatures. The reward is a whole new level of experience unlike anything imagined!
It is in this way and along with my own personal experiences which are similar in many respects, I noticed a pattern of similarity in the way we humans live and how these forest giants live and interact with us. These have been organized into levels of contact
in a social sense of the phrase. In other words, in order to better understand them, we simply need to take an honest look at ourselves.
***
When compared to ET contacts, Bigfoot experiences are to me more profoundly life-changing - forever altering the way one views the outside world and communicates with others. This could be due to our society being drip-fed images and ideas of ET over the years as compared to very little about Bigfoot’s true nature. Therefore, I want to stress the importance of progressing at your own speed and when ready. Having reality flip upside down and without a friend-base or support network handy can be devastating. So much so, when this happens people may feel victimized and that things are out of their control. This is why I wrote this book. The four levels of Bigfoot contact, as organized and described in this book, will help prepare the curious Human for the road ahead – if they choose to travel it.
This is the third book of my contact series and I am proud to say that nearly all of the content in this series has up to this point been unique and first-hand, as experienced independently or with group participants and friends during one of my contact outings. This book, however, is a little different.
While putting my manuscript together, I was by way of synchronicity introduced to three authors whose work complimented my own Bigfoot experiences. Therefore, I have included references to their books in order to reinforce my own material and to encourage you to look them up when you can. My own personal contact accounts are reserved for the chapter titled, "Contact Cases."
In a time and space when most of the Bigfoot material we come across is little more than re-hashed second and third-hand fodder from years gone by, the work of these three authors is consequently groundbreaking and refreshing, but also largely ignored in mainstream research because it lacks the intense tones of helplessness and fear which modern classics seem to rely upon. These authors are Christopher Noel, Kewaunee Lapseritis, and Robert Schmalzbach (aka JavaBob). And for fans of the Bradshaw Ranch outside Sedona, Arizona, you will find more pertaining to Linda Bradshaw’s Big Girl.
In my second book, "Into The Wild: Relationships With Nature & ET, I reintroduced one or more contact cases from book one,
Alien Contact: Former Arizona Tour Guide Tells All." I did this so readers would see an alternate ending to each of those contact cases. If afterwards someone’s paradigm changed about making contact with ETs, then learning how Nature also communicates in a form of cooperation is another leap for the human mind. Likewise, and in light of certain Bigfoot contact levels, I will reintroduce several experiences from Alien Contact here to help expand the reader’s awareness and to challenge previous conclusions that those contacts were quite possibly not ET or Ghostly in origin, but rather from Bigfoot.
To a growing number of people the world in which we live and play is nothing more than a co-creative drama, held in place by the Creator’s love by way of synchronicity. When we stop to get out of the way and let go of everything which worries us, we begin to see things a little differently. This subtlety can make all the difference when we are looking for answers. Like the angels and ascended masters who are believed by many to look over and protect us in times of need, maybe consider adding Bigfoot to the list of beings willing and able to help us – and even teach us!
You will also see throughout this book repeated references to the term or idea of Cognitive Dissonance. This, I believe, is one of the leading challenges researchers, historians, and skeptics face when evidence is presented to argue the case for Bigfoot and/or ET/UFO existence. It is not that the evidence is anecdotal – that they weren’t there to document it or give it their almighty blessing of authenticity. Instead, the reason is something more deep and elusive, pertaining to emotional wounding and fear of being wrong. In other words, there oftentimes appears a need to be right.
Every human is faced with this at one point or another in their lives (even if not about these topics) but the real challenge is to overcome pride, ego, and hurt feelings in our individual quest for the truth. It was once said, "You can’t handle the truth!" In some ways, I think Jack was right. [1]
Cognitive Dissonance: The state of having conflicting thoughts, beliefs, or attitudes, which relate to challenges to our belief system, behavior and attitude. Can also impact our sensory input. Example: Upon hearing that the attacks of September 11, 2001 were perpetrated by the US Government (whether true or untrue), for some people accepting this as true would simply cause too much mental and emotional pain. Their sense of world-reality, who they are, what they stand for, their purpose in life, who they can trust, etc., would be destroyed. They instead choose to reject such ideas as nonsense, blasphemy, and unpatriotic in order to maintain their sense of right and wrong, good and bad, true and untrue. They may often fight to the death against such invasive and unwelcome ideas.
JavaBob shares an unfortunate example of the jealousy and unprofessionalism that exists in the field of Bigfoot and ET/UFO research. In Monsters, Myths and Me, his example pertains to Judy, the woman who photographed the Florida Skunk Ape.
Judy, a professional photographer, captured a series of photographs of something unknown. After her film was developed she didn’t want to incur controversy so she buried them in her private collection. About five years later a local art show was being held and representatives looking through her photos discovered the images. After much coaxing to convince her to show the creature, she put one of the series on display. A local paper saw the photo and soon it was all over the Internet. This was not something she expected or wanted.[2]
Bob explains,
Soon Judy was being judged by all the so called Bigfoot Researchers
who spend their time critiquing anything that goes across the web or papers, but don’t bother to investigate themselves. She was being called a fraud and her picture was being manipulated and actually changed by these same so called Bigfoot Researchers!
This is a good reason to double-check a story that interests you, rather than simply taking the word of bloggers, BBS trolls, researchers, media, and others.
I once realized a trap. The trap was that if I listened to real estate experts and bought as much house as I could afford, and then some, I would be trapped into an income-level requirement and/or a job that made me unhappy. I opted out.
I believe some life-long Bigfoot and ET/UFO researchers may have fallen prey to a similar trap. That trap required them to tow a certain party line
for fear of upsetting or panicking people. By doing so they embarked on a journey that if stopped, would bring shame, ridicule, and even attacks from their long-time colleagues. The choice would be theirs. And yet so many of these people have continued on that deceptive road rather than change direction. This is in part why I feel cognitive dissonance has such an impact in people’s lives.
Federal, State and other government agencies have kept certain reports quiet and out of the news for fear of starting a panic. For instance, there exist US Forest Service rangers who have seen Bigfoot personally, as well as indications such as tracks, but for fear of losing their job and being ridiculed, keep quiet.[3] In another instance a police chief admitted to producing a hoax
finding just to calm the community down and that they had in fact received reports of Bigfoot in the area for many years.[4] Some would even argue that there are wolves and grizzly bear in California, as witnessed by residents and firefighting crews, but that too will be officially denied. In another instance, US Forest Service rangers trapped and killed more than 200 bear (sometimes 4 or 5 a night) in the mountains of New Mexico just because they were getting calls from local townspeople that bears were coming into town looking for food and they felt threatened. When other communities heard about this, they wondered why the Government didn’t open hunting season for bear sooner, keep it open longer, or up the bag limit for people who actually use the animal to get through the cold winters. Sometimes poaching is legal. It just depends who’s got the gun.
But I have to wonder, if we continue to erode away at Bigfoot’s environmental habitat at the rate we are today, will the US Forest Service insist on trapping and killing them when they come into our towns looking for food and shelter? It appears to depend on us. If we panic, then I suppose they might. However, if we recognize these creatures for who they are and learn about them through individual contact, then we and our leaders have nothing to fear. For it is out of fear that citizens panic and that hasty, unbalanced, and unnatural decisions are made by public officials. (see Teluke chapter for a true example.)
This should not come as a surprise to anyone familiar with the ET/UFO phenomenon. Reports of behavioral studies have been made public documenting how citizens would panic and become dangerous to themselves and others if they knew the truth. [5]
I believe it is for this reason and that of cognitive dissonance that we see so much rejection of alternative experiences within the greater Paranormal field. I also believe that as more and more individuals ready themselves, experience personal sightings and contact, that the masses and the leadership guiding them, will finally open up and acknowledge these heretofore unaccepted realities. This will only be once the fear of panic
belief is dropped. Unfortunately, it’s rather difficult to not be afraid unless you know the truth!
WHAT’S REAL?
It can’t be: Therefore it isn’t.
– Dr. J. Allen Hynek (1972)
In a world where so many people quite easily define what is right and what is wrong or good and bad, why do we struggle when it comes to what is real and what is not? It should not be that difficult and this chapter therefore should not be that long, but unfortunately this is something we need to examine if we are ever going to understand the nature of other people’s Bigfoot contact and if interested, move forward with contacts of our own!
Our individual realities are fashioned by what we perceive as being true and real, as well as untrue and unreal. As such, each of us can comfortably exist within these artificial boundaries while at times co-existing with like-minded people. I use the term artificial
because we all seem to have our own and many times throughout our lifetime, we will redefine them, our beliefs of what is right, what is good, and of course, what is real. Our boundaries are by no means permanent, as much as we might like to think they are. They more or less allow us to feel in control, stable, and help us to sleep at night. This is again a reference to cognitive dissonance and why we resist certain ideas.
Life as we know it includes many transitions into new and exciting experiences. Take for instance graduation from High School. Many possibilities await the young adult as potentials in their near future. For example, they may elect to remain in the city they’ve come to know so well and take up volunteer work or deliver pizzas for a local business. Another potential would be to follow in one of their parent’s footsteps with dreams of one day managing the family business. Yet another option is to join the military and travel abroad and learn amazing things and meet fascinating people. Then there’s the idea of college, going off to a larger city in some cases meeting new people and trying to decide what academic major to stick with or what would make the parents proud. To the teenager who faces such potentials it can be more than a little daunting. As a result, they may seek out advice from family and friends. In whatever the case, ideas of what is best and right for the teenager will emerge from within every conversation. At some point though, they will seek out solitude for contemplation before emerging with a direction to head.
Over the course of our lives we all make many changes in direction and as I believe, nearly all of these will be done after one or more of our beliefs change. In other words, our changes of lifestyle were the direct result of a recent change in our beliefs or what we felt to be correct. With the new lifestyle will come new friends, co-workers, ideas of good and bad, what is right and wrong, and quite possibly another living arrangement. Some changes may appear more dramatic than others and I suspect these will be caused by a change to a core
belief – one we never thought we would reconsider. This has been the case in my life and I suspect it has been and will be for other people.
From childhood, you might have been taught that things like UFOs, Aliens, Bigfoot, or the Loch Ness Monster were nothing more than figments of someone’s overactive imagination, yet Santa Clause and the Tooth Fairy were of course real. Of course they were, as presents said, From: Santa
and the candy or money we may have found under our pillow was from the Tooth Fairy himself (I was taught it was a male). As we grew older we learned of our parent’s involvement in continuing the deception.
From my own experience, it wasn’t until I was older that I learned I could ask for proof that I started to demand it when among friends or when snapping back at one or both of my parents when I didn’t believe them. Before then I pretty much believed anything someone older than me said or what I saw on television. That is of course, until someone older than me said TV was make-believe. But I wasn’t taught that proof or evidence applied to what was right or wrong, good or bad – only what was real or unreal.
Oftentimes we accept something as being true or real without any evidence – just because someone said it was so, someone like an expert or authority figure. Eventually, the older we become we undoubtedly learn it’s not good to believe everything we read in the newspaper, see on television, and hear on the radio. From the day we accept these words as good, solid advice, we forget that our foundational teachings up to that point may in fact be based on such untruths! If that’s the case, what can be done and how can we know for certain if we’re, still to this day, impaired by such limiting beliefs?
For instance, if someone produces clear day-time photos or high-definition video footage to prove to us once and for all that Bigfoot or UFOs are real, would we still stick to our guns claiming they were hoaxed using Photoshop or CGI software or would we reconsider our position and the possibility that our experts
and teachers from days gone by could have been wrong or simply pulling our leg? If we resist the proof when it is presented, any attitude of resistance might be just the red flag we need to see when this might be the case.
I have personally captured digital imagery and posted it on an online discussion website, only to have numerous members attack their authenticity and my motives. I was not trying to convince anyone they were real, but was instead posting them for another member to help answer their questions. The people who got riled up seemed to be looking for any shred of evidence they could use to support their belief and prove the point of what was real and unreal. Might the reason for their response have been that the evidence would likely force them to admit they and their trusted and wise teachers
were wrong? I wonder if we were ever reunited with the people who said UFOs and Bigfoot were make-believe from our childhood, would they still believe the same way or would they have changed their mind over the years? Likewise, I wonder what they would say if we asked them who taught them that UFOs and Bigfoot were pretend
