      Introduction

      Dear friends,

      We, Tony and Robyn Abbott, are Spiritual Writers and Teachers who have conducted Spiritual Development Groups for small numbers of interested people, over many years. Although there are many wonderful books on the market at the moment, designed to help individuals learn about their Spirituality, we felt there was a need for a practically written book and course that an individual or small group could follow weekly to encourage their psychic/spiritual gifts; teach them about Spiritual matters on an easily understandable level and also be lots of FUN!

      We have found that when people work in groups they generate a type of combined battery energy, so that even the slow learners are able to keep up with the others, as the spiritual energy in the room is multiplied and shared equally. It is also very encouraging to work with others of a like mind and share experiences safely. However many people prefer to learn alone, and we feel that this ten lesson guide will also benefit them.

      The exercises in this book will not only assist you in your spiritual and psychic development but many of them, will help you to increase better health in mind, body and spirit.

      It is recommended that the Steps be followed in sequence, to gradually build up your knowledge and spiritual power. A weekly interval for each Step would be the most beneficial.

      This book is written for everyone interested in developing his or her latent gifts of spiritual and psychic phenomena. Our teachings are non-denominational, but are written from the understanding, that you have a belief in a Supreme Creator, are open to the idea of reincarnation and believe that you are made up of more than flesh and bone - that you do indeed have a soul and are here for a special purpose on Earth.

      Rather than use the term God, we will use the word Spirit which also encompasses all energies - Archangels, Angels and the Ascended Masters, such as Jesus, Buddha etc. Lightworkers is the term we use for you who are awakening to your spiritual possibilities and who are actively working with the Light or Divine Knowledge.

      Each of the ten steps in this book is meant to take approximately one and a half (1½) to two (2) hours to learn and perform. With groups, we suggest that each week a different Group Leader is chosen, to read the lesson and arrange the supplies needed for the following week. Most of the lesson supplies are easily obtainable and inexpensive. The lessons are easy to understand and the exercises included are simple to follow. Most of all, we hope you will have lots of fun learning and performing these 10 Lessons.
