    Daryl Smith worked in education and economic development before retiring to concentrate on writing. His careers allowed him to meet many fascinating people and see life from a variety of perspectives. They also gave him a wonderful background of experiences to draw from in his writing. Smith holds a Bachelors Degree from Anderson University and a Masters Degree and an Educational Specialist degree from Ball State University in Indiana. In addition to writing, Daryl enjoys time with his family and friends, reading, art, and nature. He splits his time between homes in Monticello, Indiana and Conyers, Georgia.
