Donna Phillips is a nutrition expert and body enhancement consultant. Donna originally trained as a Sports Therapist who later went on to lecture in Nutrition, Skill Acquisition and other studies in Sport. She has since set up her own slimming club and is a music radio presenter for a local charity radio station in her home town. It is Donna's work in the field of health, fitness and professional sport that prompted her to write. "I've always written" she says. Everyone has stood in front of the mirror and been upset by what looks back. Everyone.
For some, this was enough to drive them to change, by whatever means necessary. For others, it’s been too much, and they can’t bear to look at themselves. They avoid the mirror.
However, there are things in that mirror image that are only actually present in our minds. They’re not present in reality. We can be so suggestible at times. So much so, that other people are able to happily point out what they see wrong with us, that they make us believe whatever they say about us. And when we actually go back to the mirror, we seem to see everything they told us about. Yet, we then ask ourselves, how come I didn’t see that there before?
Answer? Because it was never there before – it didn’t exist.
