In Tibet cuisine reflects the fact that little crops grow at the high altitudes, although a few lower laying regions can grow crops like rice, oranges, bananas, and lemon.The most important crop is barley, which is the staple food of Tibet. Tibetan cuisine is traditionally served with bamboo chopsticks and Small soup bowls which are also used.This is in contrast to other Himalayan cuisines, which eat by hand.
Meat dishes are likely to be yak, goat, or mutton, often dried or cooked in a spicy stew with potatoes.
