    Ivan was born in Croatia. His parents were Marija Tubolec and Zvonko Kos. Ivan emigrated to Canada in 1967 where he met his future wife Joanne. They had four children and live in Edmonton, Alberta.Joanne and Ivan Kos have been a successful business couple for the past 30 years. They own and operate a general contracting and home building firm.Both are F.I.R.E. Certified Firewalking instructors. They also pioneered the "Painless, Effortless and Natural Birthing Method” and Ivan has written a book by the same title. Three of their four children were born at home.       Introduction

      Because a healthy body in balance has the capacity to fight off most diseases, prevention of disease is of utmost importance. It is our personal responsibility to promote our own health, not merely fight disease. Waging an enormously expensive no-win war against the symptoms of diseases, as is being done today, is total insanity. In fact, the symptom is often the body’s defences combating the disease. Medicine may interfere with this process.

      OUR ORIGIN

      It is true that we cannot go anywhere unless we know where we are. To know where we are we have to know where we came from. Let us take a very quick look at where we came from, and how we got to be here. Hopefully, this booklet will give you some ideas where you want to go.

      From the time of our conception until our birth, in only nine months we go through three billion years of evolution – from protozoa to a human being. This evolution-creation process moves at lightning speed. Therefore, the average speed of growth is 10 million biological years per each 24 hours! Introduction of toxic chemicals and external drugs into this super sensitive system during the prenatal period greatly damages the intended process.

      One single cell recreates itself over and over again with one purpose: to create this body of ours, a temple of the Holy Spirit, a home of the unbounded consciousness. Perfect intelligence builds our body from one cell into a beautiful form of about 70 trillion cells and guides the body’s functions throughout life. It does not desert us when we are born. It keeps us going despite the enormous abuses we heap on ourselves. Give this inner intelligence a chance and it will set things right

      DEFENDING OURSELVES

      Every year millions upon millions of tons of toxic chemicals are introduced into the Earth’s environment. Because of these toxins (along with abuse and our attitudes) the human species are losing the war against viruses and bacteria. The only way to survive is to reclaim our healthy bodies.

      Every day our homes and bodies are exposed to poisonous chemicals. Living species at all levels of life are under enormous chemical attack, not to mention serious damages that are caused by radiation and ozone depletion. To try to defend themselves, bacteria and viruses mutate faster, become more resistant, and counterattack their enemy… us.

      We are oh so proud that we have eradicated certain diseases. However, we are greatly deceiving ourselves. Old diseases tend to come back in new and improved form. New deadly viral and bacterial disease came into existence like AIDS, Ebola, Hanta Virus, Legionnaires Disease, Flesh eating bacteria and others so new they do not even have a name yet. Of course, some of these viruses and bacteria were around before, but now they have mutated to a new powerful level, while our immune system since deteriorated considerably. If a disease like Ebola or AIDS mutates just one more level and becomes airborne, we will be counting the population of this planet in millions instead of billions. It is high time that we stop treating weeds, viruses, bacteria, and all other aspects of Mother Nature as our enemies.

      If the prediction of the Australian Minister of Science Ian Chubb becomes true, the World is in deep trouble. Because of the overuse of the antibiotics, for most of which there is no justification, bacteria are becoming increasingly resistant. He states that ALL antibiotics will become useless inside 20 years. World has developed about 100 antibiotics. Some bacteria produce chemicals to destroy antibiotics (some even feast on it), others push antibiotics out of the cells and yet others simply relocate to a part of the body where antibiotics cannot reach.

      Viruses are by far the most abundant life-form on Earth. If you took all the stars in the Universe and multiplied that number by a million, that is how many viruses we estimate are on the planet.

      There is no enemy out there. We are the enemy!
