Hamish Scott
Hamish Scott was born in Edinburgh, Scotland in 1960 and now lives on the outskirts of the city in Tranent, East Lothian. His poetry in Scots has been published in numerous outlets. 'Kennins', his first poetry collection, was published in 2013. His second collection, 'Scotlan's Richt: Thirteen poems anent the 2014 independence referendum', was published in 2014. 'Wirds for the day', his third collection, was published in 2015 and contains 50 poems on a variety of subjects. In 2015 he won the Scots language prize in the Wigtown Poetry Competition.
