Introduction
I vividly recall leaving my 9 to 5 job and going to the local grocery store to buy food for my family. As I only had $20 left on my debit card until payday, which was three days away, I frantically counted each item in my head---hoping not to go over. Content with my purchases, I happily walked over to the checkout line, handed the cashier my discount card, and secretly held my breath as the total of $19.95 was given. After a sigh of relief, I slid my debit card down the terminal and applied the pin. Sorry, but the transaction was declined

Instead of letting disappointment and despair consume me, I vowed from that embarrassment at the checkout line to never be without money again!
