    Prologue

SOMETIMES PEOPLE do things that irritate the world of the dead.

This story is about just such an event where man stepped out of bounds and entered the strange realm of death, causing many innocent people to die because of their stupidity.

In a County of some state who will remain nameless, a builder wanted to expand his already huge property holdings and illegally grabbed Indian land.

Moving the skeletal remains, burial shrouds, body stands, with Indian bodies set on them, and allowed to decay, and totems. The builder took the land.

He took all the skeletal remains as well as the buried remains, and all their other spiritual worshipping items, along with their weapons and dumped them into a giant hole in the ground at the base of a mountain.

Houses were soon being constructed and marketed all over the old burial grounds. Houses that should not be there to disrupt the rest of the dead.

Bower Subdivision now came into being. People from all places were buying up the inexpensive houses and quickly moving in.

Little did they know that the spirits were upset and would strike back at them-as the spiritual shadow people of the dead gained more power? A few dogs, cats, birds, and other types of animals were soon dying. Some burned to death by an unidentifiable force, while others were simply murdered.

The 2,500 residents living there were aware of a few problems, but nothing could prepare them for what would happen next.

Reports also made to Police about constant dogs barking at the forest tree line at night. Footprints from some unknown human found here and there, burned into people’s yards.

Whatever walked across those yards must have had fire-for-feet. Now the story begins.

    Chapter 1

    THE MURDERS

SHADOWS IN THE hallway of the Townsend house, moved towards the bedroom of Bobby Townsend. The lights in the bathroom and his nightlight flicked off and on, as the shadows moved closer to his bed.

Shadowy figures, lit up by the moonlight coming in through his bedroom window ripped at his body. His screams waking his father and mother in the next room. His father Richard Townsend the first to enter his room trying to flip on the light switch, he watched as shadows with glowing red eyes escaped through Bobby’s’ window.

As the lights came on again Mr. Townsend turned towards Bobby’s bed seeing his son covered with blood pouring out of his body. The father screamed out, No! Sharon, get help fast,
