Planet Me: Have the Scotch Gone Yet?

About this ebook
Follow up to the original "Planet Me". Very little to do with Whisky, or even the Scottish. Simply "a book with some more stuff in it". A large glass of red should make the words go down easier. A humorous philosophical look at life in general and incompetence in particular. Check out the full original book Planet Me.

I unfortunately happen to be 52 years old. So I have seen a reasonable amount of stuff and observed how things evolve (or more correctly - go round in circles) over time. I'm really a scientist, with a degree and PhD in Chemistry, who happens to also like painting, design and art and has built a couple of extensions to his house. And invented and patented a weird back cushion that some people want to buy. I have written many scientific papers and technical reports over the years, but to date never anything 'normal' or 'main stream'. That changed in late 2013/early 2014 when I decided to do something a bit different and interesting from my usual day job - and 'Planet Me' became the result. It's not really for the faint hearted, being my own individual take on a range of situations and circumstances that amuse me, hack me off big time, or happen to do both of these things simultaneously. It is original, because there is, thankfully, only one of me. And anybody who manages to stay on message and get to the end of the book will almost certainly thank the lord that that is indeed the case. Probably best read by a species of the non-female variety and only when extremely drunk. STOP PRESS - this last bit is apparently complete boll**ks - ladies like the book as well ! "I knew I was going to agree with everything you said the moment you referred to one's bottom as an "ARSE", as opposed to an ass. Your narrative flows straight from your grumpy brain to my ear and I love it, just love it. I've found myself in complete agreement with you. In fact, we only disagree on one thing so far, and that's your advice that it's not for women. I can't speak for all women but I listen to this kind of stuff everyday, roll my eyes and then promptly leave the room to laugh so as not to let you the man in question know he's right and also funny. Because that would be a disaster. I think this is a work of genius." - Ms Z, Feb 2014.
