About this ebook

Most of the modern chronic diseases are not contagious diseases. They are not caused by bacteria or viruses. Based on my clinical experience with holistic herbal medicine, I strongly believe that the root causes of most of the modern chronic diseases are in nutritionally imbalanced diet, unhealthy lifestyle factors, lack of physical and breathing exercises, mental stress, and stressful physical and social environments in which one is living, working, and travelling. Correction of these factors and customized herbal medications can cure most of the modern chronic diseases including coronary artery disease. If they cannot be completely cured in case of some diseases, they can be managed to be within acceptable limits to permit normal life with pure herbal medications and without any side effects.

    Preface

About three decades ago, a personal gum infection that no dental expert, no mainstream anti-biotic could cure but I myself was able to cure with a very widely available leaf of an herb (Psidium guajava) turned my attention firmly towards herbal medicine. I considered it a miracle spur and guidance regarding the destiny of my life in herbal health care.

I made it my mission to discover the miraculous cures that herbal medicine has for most of the modern chronic diseases for which mainstream medicine has only life-long, daily maintenance medicines. My in-depth studies on herbal medicines and my clinical research on herbal medicines proved beyond doubt that herbal medicine does have permanent cures for a whole range of modern chronic diseases or seasonal or occasional ailments.

Studying for in-depth knowledge, application oriented research, and intensive clinical trials are totally different from text book learning and preparation for examinations and alifications to pursue a profession. I studied the materia medicas and medicinal formulations of Ayurveda, Siddha, Unani, Naturopathy, Traditional Chinese Medicine, European and American Herbal Traditions, American Folk Medicine, Traditional Tribal Medicine Practices in India and Africa etc. To add formal qualifications to my in-depth knowledge and clinical experience on herbs, I completed a four year Advanced Diploma in Western Herbal Medicine at the Australian Institute of Applied Sciences (AIAS), Brisbane, Australia. Now I am a Senior Fellow in the Alumni Association of Natural Medicine Practitioners in Australia. I am also a qualified Member of the Australian Traditional Medicine Society.

The Australian Herbal Clinic (AHC) in Hyderabad, India, was established in 2003. We provide consultation only for not more than 8 new patients per day. We are interested only in curative medicine not maintenance medicine for modern chronic diseases such as coronary artery blockages, hypertension, rheumatoid arthritis, osteoarthritis, asthma, sinusitis, allergy, irritable
