I've been transformed by reading this book. The best manual on how to mature in your faith. Wow! God uses the hidden ones. I'm so encouraged and enriched because of this book.

    Introduction

    I want to share my heart with you. There are many people in the world today that are beginning to have Enoch like experiences. Over the past years in my short time in ministry I have heard the statement walking with God like Enoch did. God is moving so quickly and powerfully now that walking with God like Enoch did will become a common experience. I believe soon there will come such an intimacy in the body of Christ with Christ that this statement will change to, walking with God like insert your name here. That is not a prideful or boastful thing to say but rather a glorious move of the Lord and something the Father desires greatly. He desires an intimacy with His people that is greater than we can yet understand. He wants someone to walk with and to stand with in truth.

    This book is not scripture. The cannon is closed. There are however principles and revelation of scripture contained in this book. You will read revelation of the Kingdom of God, the Word of God, and the heart of this God-man Jesus. My prayer is that this writing will catapult the reader into greater levels of intimacy and truth with the Father, Jesus Christ, and the precious Holy Spirit. I am in no way high and lofty. If this revelation has done anything it has made me understand I really do not know anything.

    This book was born out of vision and is comprised of visions. Some of the things said and stated here are messages, which can be symbolic. It is a tendency of many people to get caught up picking apart specific details which at times can lead to misinterpretation. In doing this people may become angry and completely miss the message God is conveying and the Spirit in which He is doing it. It is by grace these visions were able to be seen and written.

    The understanding I received would, for the most part, come immediately while at other times the Lord would reveal it gradually and at a later time. I want to GREATLY emphasise the things I have written in this book are only a part of the whole picture.

    It is my desire that the Lord would take this writing and use it to reveal Himself to you through the Bible and through experiences with Him on your own. It is very easy for a person to read a vision, give mental ascent to it, agree with it, and totally miss the revelation the Lord has for that person. I encourage you to seek the Lord regarding every part of this book you do not understand. I would ask if you do not understand what is written ask the Lord for revelation and then continue reading. It is wisdom at times to put things you do not understand on the shelf and believe when the time is right the Lord will reveal it to you and whether it is correct or not. I have learned the hard way that just because I do not understand something does not mean it is incorrect or unscriptural.

    One of my goals in this book is to write only what God speaks to me and what I see while keeping my opinions out of it. I cannot promise I will be keeping them out, but I can tell you it is my earnest desire and I have done my best to do so. So be it.

    The Lord Jesus Himself commissioned me to write this book and has given me the vision for it. One day I was sitting with a man of God and he looked directly at me and said, Joseph,there are books coming at you to write like a freight train. Prepare yourself. That evening I went home and while I was waiting on God the Lord Jesus came to me in a vision and handed me a golden pen and said, Write. Writing these visions is simple yet infinitely complicated.

    I sit down at my computer and wait on the Lord. It has taken over four years for me to complete this book. Every time I sit down the vision starts where the last one ended. Many of these visions and words were given to me in the form of an open vision displayed in front of me like a panoramic movie screen. In other visions my consciousness was completely immersed and I didn't know if I was in the body or out of the body. However I still maintained the awareness somewhere inside that it would end and I would find myself sitting at my desk chair. I could not write them until the vision was complete. I call these interactive visions.

    The rest of the visions I saw in my mind's eye. I have not been to any of these places in my flesh (Body). Sometimes the visions would come to me as soon as I sat in the chair while in others I would wait on the Lord for hours before receiving anything. At the beginning it was very difficult quieting myself. It would be months between times because I was not focused and the visions would last between five and twenty minutes. Later it would be weeks in between times and the visions lasted longer. Now they are nightly and last between two and six hours because there is a special grace to finish the work because I have learned to focus and see.

    We must all be content to be with Him and to be completely satisfied with His presence. In doing that we will begin to be filled with Love and Love is the most powerful force in the universe. There are many people in the world who have great ministries yet are filled with heart issues and do not understand the great love with which He loves us. In saying that I want to make it clear I am also a work in progress. Being in His presence allows Him to perform surgery on our hearts and it allows us to see clearly. The avenue to opening up your spiritual vision is to wait on Him.

    The title Treasures of Darkness comes from Isaiah 45 where the Lord is speaking to Cyrus. As I was waiting on the Lord one night I saw Jesus with a Golden Branch in His hand and He was taking it to the Father to be offered as a pleasing sacrifice. Written on the branch were the words The Remnant. As He was walking I saw Him drive the branch into the ground with the force of eternity. The earth began to split and huge Oak trees of varying color came up, fully grown and mature. I immediately understood these trees were called Oaks of Righteousness. Engraved across these Oaks of Righteousness was the name Cyrus. Cyrus was a gentile king who was used to liberate Judah. I believe the Lord is going to anoint a company of people called The Remnant as He did Cyrus, and give them all that He promised Cyrus in Isaiah 45. This remnant will be largely responsible for harboring and protecting Jewish people from around the world during times of great persecution. Oaks of Righteousness are also representative of trees of righteousness, who will rise soon and bring healing to the nations. They will bring restoration to the hearts of people around the world and rebuild the desolate cities inside of them. The Love these Oaks of righteousness will walk in will be unprecedented and, coupled with a revelation of Sonship, will allow this group of people to begin to walk in the realm of greater things. The Remnant will be a branch or extension of the tree of life which is Jesus. These manifested 'Sons of the Kingdom' will be the ones who overcome the last enemy. Death.

    One of the things God promises Cyrus is that He will give him the Treasures of Darkness and hidden riches in secret places. These Treasures and hidden riches MUST be recovered. Many of these have already been recovered and are available in His hand for you RIGHT NOW. Others God has reserved for the end times generation. I am convinced that generation is on the earth now. We are at the beginning of the end of days. All of these treasures are soaked in the destiny of breakthrough. This book contains revelation that has been a source of treasure and hidden riches for many.

    Now, my travail for you is that this book would be a catalyst in leading you into a place of intimacy with God that only you and He can go. I pray in reading it something tangible is transferred from me to you and from the Lord to you through my writing and experiences. I pray the truth that is presented would destroy anything that stands in the way of intimacy and, as the Holy Spirit reveals it to you, it would thrust you into a place of hunger, revelation, and change. I pray the revelation and love would cause you to not only do what the Lord says, but to live to the GREATNESS of the calling on your life. I pray you would continually become a bride made ready and that the Sons of the Kingdom would begin to manifest in power. I pray you would SEE all God has for you and you would begin to see yourself as He sees you. I decree and declare BREAKTHROUGH in your life and the things standing in your way would be gathered and removed. I shout GRACE, GRACE to your path and to the things that stand in the way of your forward progress in the Lord.
