    Grace Paley (Nueva York, 1922 - Vermont, 2007) vivió entre dos culturas: la de sus padres, inmigrantes judíos rusos, y la de la gente de la calle, que le proporcionaba el material para sus escritos.       Published when the author was eighty-four, this collection reflects, in part, the author's reflections on that period in her life. The author's style involves all lower case with the exception of the word "I." Spaces, rather than punctuation, mark pauses. The author's style does not resonate well with me, although I appreciated some of the poems. The author's atheism manifested itself in one poem in the collection. I prefer Mary Oliver's poetry.
