1 - What is Romance In A Month?

In the spring of 2014, I recruited almost forty writers to join my private Facebook Group dedicated to the art and science of writing a romance in a month. This book is the result of our shared experiences and will show you how to start your own group to write a romance in a month.

Join romance author Rachelle Ayala on a guided journey to write a romantic story in one month. There will be handouts and lessons posted. The class is no pressure, fun only, and motivational. We will, as a group, inspire and support each other. There are no word count goals, nada. You may write any length from a flash romance to an epic romance, or finish with an outline or synopsis. The important thing is to go through the experience together and know that you CAN do it!

It’s All About the Story

Romance In A Month is a positive, affirming group of writers who support each other on the one month journey of creating a romantic story. The only requirement for class membership is a desire to write along with a group and a commitment to treat class members in a respectful and friendly manner.

Excellent! I loved that Rachelle got straight to the heart of things and gave me tips that I'm going to use immediately. I also love great exercises that help guide me with using the new knowledge, so hers were appreciated. The icing on the cake was the parts on positive mindset and affirming yourself and other writers. Thanks, Rachelle!
