      I loved this story. There are many unexpected twists an turns, which is quite refreshing when so many books seem to rehash the same things.

      Oversimplified summary with some predictable spoilers: a 16 year old girl kills ”night walkers” with her affluent family. She has an older brother and two younger brothers. She has a soft spot for night walkers even though she's been raised to believe they have a killer thirst. What are nightwlkers? after reading, It's basically a vampire. On her 17th birthday she is forced to meet her cowardly betrothed and for some reason, he wants to go in the woods. He gets scared. She chases after him. She goes deeper into woods unprotected. She gets turned by a ?cute ?nightwalker who looks her age, but isn't. She learns the night walking ways and realizes they aren't different from humans. The night walker (who was interested in this girl before she was turned) becomes her night walker boyfriend and they fall in love because...stockholm syndrome? The end.

      I haven’t read a vampire novel in quite a while, so I appreciated the new take on an old stereotype. The beginning felt a bit stilted to me; the dialogue was very formal. But after the world building was mostly completed, everything seemed to smooth out and flow easily. Eden is only 15, I hope she keeps writing. Since she can produce a fast paced, interesting twist on vampires at the age, I’m looking forward to seeing and reading what else she writes with more life and writing experiences.
