About this ebook
If you've taken part in job interviews and are still waiting to receive that illusive job offer, this is the book for you.
You'll learn why jobs are sometimes offered to candidates less qualified than you, or with little or no previous experience.
The TOP TIPS in this book will give you confidence in your ability to perform well at the INTERVIEW. Fail to prepare and prepare to fail. One of life's simple rules.
During my research for this book I found ignorance on BOTH sides of the table, with both INTERVIEWEES and INTERVIEWERS attempting to wing it.
What began as a self-help guide for INTERVIEWEES has ended up being a check list for INTERVIEWERS as well.
Chapters include TOP TIPS on preparation, how to read a job advertisement, how to identify what the recruiter is looking for, plus 50 of the most frequently asked questions with how best to respond.
There is a list of Do's and Don'ts for you to read as a refresher on the day of the interview.

Introduction
The Top Tips series of mini books is a compendium of short 20-30 minute reads.
Forty years experience condensed into a series of 10 mini books. Each one taking less than 30 minutes to read. ‘A masterpiece of condensed learning’.
A must have for busy individuals who don’t have the time to attend a training course on all ten subjects covered in this unique series.
The first book to be published in the series is Top Tips on Interviewing.
It has been written primarily with the INTERVIEWEE in mind. However, during the research, it became clear that fewer than 10% of interviewers had received training in interviewing skills and techniques. Chapter 3 is directed towards INTERVIEWERS.
As we enter 2012 ‘business failures’, ‘business down-sizing’ and ’redundancies’ have become all too familiar headlines.
One effect, widely forecast, is an increase in unemployment. The knock-on effect of which will be more people chasing fewer jobs. A recent survey suggests that for every job vacancy
