      Hits several cliches here, vampire who owns night club meets detective who is investigating serial killer. Diana Reyes is an FBI agent hunting a serial killer who is using Ryder Latimer's club as a hunting ground. She's there as killer-bait, she doesn't expect to be vampire bait. Ryder is a vampire who has never involved himself with romance but Diana is proving hard to resist.It wasn't a bad read, the killer did take a back seat to the romance but that's a function of this sort of read.

      Homicide detective meets vampire during an investigation. A few inconsistencies in the story were a bit troublesome but overall it was an interesting enough vampire romance. Unfortunately there was little about the plot, characters or writing to make it overwhelmingly memorable, however I would be open to reading more by this author (which is good since I have a few more of this series in my tbr pile). If you like paranormal romances this might be a good one to pick up for a quick vacation read.
