- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5This retelling of the classic story Beauty and the Beast, told from the Beasts point of view, paints a picture of a kind-hearted prince who wants nothing more than his turn on the stage.Children will enjoy this delightful rendition of an old favorite. The story is accompanied by beautiful, colorful illustrations. The story is timeless. It is extremely well written with delightful language and a warm and friendly writing style. The illustrations are gorgeous. I always dreamed of being an author of children's books. This is the type of book I would love to write.
