About the Author
Why it Works
Yes, this technique works! It works because it lets you unlock your powerful secret cause behind your present weight condition.
Diets fail because in the long run you must sabotage yourself in order to fulfill your mental and emotional image. It's hopeless to deal with the symptom (fat) when the cause will simply reproduce more fat.
This adventure requires no specific diet or faddish method of exercise or food preparation. It talks to you in simple terms, right where you are, gently guiding you to discover personal insights. Recognizing your particular cause, allows you to take control and decide what body image you would like to express.
Weight is a heavy blanket people throw over themselves to avoid facing a truth. This program helps you in discovering your block and letting you balance your body. Weight is just an obvious sign you are out of balance in some area of your mind or affairs. Whether you want to make the corrections necessary or not are entirely up to you. At least, after you read this book, you'll know the choice is yours.
You will be amazed at the number of times you validate the comments in this book. You'll find yourself saying, That's so true! I know that. Ouch, she's talking to me.
The personal insights you get about yourself will be worth the price of the book many times over.
The author doesn't stop with exposing the causes behind your weight condition, she helps you make the necessary changes. Your mind, body and affairs will greatly improve when you complete the Discovery Forms, use the Thought conditioners and mental exercises.
It works because:
•you discover the cause
•you face your erroneous thoughts
•you stop using symptoms (weight) as an excuse
•you decide if you want to change
•you embark on a mental and emotional programming
•you reach new goals
The results you'll get are:
•a better understanding of yourself
•more control over your life and body
•a better self-image
•peace of mind
•a method that helps you conquer other habits
AND
•weight loss – if that is indeed your priority
Sounds incredible? The author is so sure it works, she invites you to tell how how this program succeeded for you.
Chapter 1
The Weight Game
It is possible to lose weight or change bad habits by programming good information into your mind. Think of your mind as a computer. Like a computer, the subconscious mind will put out (out picture) whatever you program into it. These ideas will then reproduce in your body. The purpose of this Discovery weight program is to teach you to use words and ideas to create the image you want.
The subconscious mind cannot think. It is simply a reproducer which will begin picking up the new images and then do everything in its power to reproduce them in our lives and bodies. If we want to be thin and slim, we need to convince our subconscious minds we are already thin. We must believe we can be, that we are the desired weight. Then our subconscious will bring it forth.
To begin, you must remove obstacles by learning who you are and what you really want. Be honest with yourself and you can become the size and shape you've been trying to reach through endless dieting.
Winning the weight game means making the mental, emotional and physical changes necessary. A lasting change can only occur when the cause is altered. Surprisingly, the cause is seldom simply food or lack of exercise. Certainly, caloric intake, metabolic rate, exercise and genetic tendencies will have some bearing. An unwanted physical effect (out picturing) has a mental cause behind it. If you desire a change – a permanent change – you can have one by honestly facing yourself. You can then discover the thoughts and feelings which have established certain habit patterns; unlearn these errors
