- Rating: 2 out of 5 stars2/5Very poorly edited it detracted from the story, the story was disjointed as well and could have used with more focus on the relationship between Lyon and Quinn since it was so short. Story had potential but fell very short.
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5I thought this was a cute story short & to the point usually like longer storylines but this 1 cover everything was kind of getting worried cause it was so short but it was an easy go . Awesome thanks recomend
- Rating: 2 out of 5 stars2/5Short, hot, and full of crazy men and crazier encounters, this story needs to be taken with several grains of salt. Quinn is a quiet accountant plagued by a stalker / ex-boyfriend, and even moving to the Moon colony can't stop the guy. Then Quin falls for Lyon, his new boss, who is actually a bear shifter. And it gets wilder from there.
If you like stories written with lots of humor and not to be taken too seriously, and if you're looking for a hot read that will either make you laugh or shake your head, then you might enjoy this free short story.2 people found this helpful

Chapter One
Earth, 2045
I love you, Quinn!
This is not love.
I was so angry my voice was a cross between a yell and a growl. This is obsession. This is...crazy.
I took a deep breath, trying to calm down. Listen, Sean. We’ve been going out for four months. I like you a lot, but you’re following me to work, and you freak out if I talk to another guy. Do you know that you barging into the office and punching my boss got me fired?
My tone hitched again. I was just so fucking pissed.
Sean paced to the door of my small apartment and back. His black hair was darker with sweat. His blue eyes were wide as he stopped at stared at me. He was flirting with you.
Sean, he was telling me my assignment for the week. There was nothing there but a boss giving his employee work. You freaked out on him. On me. That’s not love.
What are you saying?
Ah, it had been coming for weeks. Sean showing up when I was on a lunch break, sitting at my door when I got home from work, hell, I could have sworn I saw him in a hover car when I was jogging. Sean, I’m saying this is getting too intense for me. I think we should—
Don’t say it.
Sean, please. We’re not right for each other. Can’t you see that? We don’t like the same things and now you’re turning into this...clinging person that follows me around.
I crossed my arms over my chest. The muscles flexed. I want to break up.
I gave my voice a soft tone. This last month had been filled with an extreme side of Sean that I didn’t want any part of.
You can’t.
His bottom lip trembled.
I’m sorry. Please, leave.
I didn’t turn my back on him. After seeing the way he whaled on my boss, I wasn’t going to be stupid. Especially since my vision was so crappy. I pinched the bridge of my nose, my glasses jostling a bit.
You don’t mean that. You’re just mad.
He took a step toward me. We were about the same size, weight, and height.
I meant what I said.
It’s okay. It’ll be okay. Just take some time to—
No. I am sorry, but we’re done.
I had to break this shit up before it got worse. Please. Leave.
He nodded slowly, lowering his head.
I was expecting more fight out of him and was glad when he walked to the door. Now I had to go look for another job. Or beg for my old job back. I don’t see why I was fired over something completely out of my control.
