    Reality means nothing; it’s all about perception!

    These are bold words…even provocative but unfortunately they are true. Although we attempt to convey our thoughts using language, what is said and what is interpreted is more often than not highly misunderstood.

    The reason for this is actually quite simple; the meaning of words is not in the words; they are in us!

    Now, there is a dictionary definition of each word we use and then there is a perceived definition of the words we use.

    Here is an interesting observation I think you will find as a good example. I publish a Kindle book called Latin Phrases $2.99.  This book is a compendium of Latin phrases that are used in our everyday language such as business, school, as well as personal. Have you ever wondered what Quid pro quo means? - Something for something, i.e. a favor for a favor . How about Non sequitur? - It does not follow. How many of you really know the meaning of the Latin phrases you probably use daily? It follows that if you truly don’t know the meaning of a phrase or word then you think you are
