This is a good collection of Christmas favourites - both carols and party songs. It offers two ways to play each piece on the same page, firstly, just the melody and chords. And under this line, another stave, which is intermediate level upwards - it has good harmonies and rhythms, including syncopated pieces. Even though carols are easy to play (Simple 4/4 and simple harmonies) the intermediate arrangements require both hands play multiple notes and the party pieces offer some challenging rhythms. All in all, a nice collection for both a beginner who has mastered some basic chord voicing, and also for the intermediate to advancing player.
