“The Nameless City” is a 1937-penned short story set in an Arabian desert. In this the eerie wilderness the narrator recalls a night of wonder and terror.I like Mr Lovecraft’s use of language and description. He expertly sets a chilling tone throughout. That said, I prefer character-driven tales with plenty of dialogue and this one simply features an unnamed narrator telling the reader what happened.

Kauhun mestarin novelleja, joista merkittävimpänä Vainooja pimeydestä (Haunter of the Dark) sekä pienoisromaani Hulluuden vuorilla (At the Mountains of Madness).
