About this ebook
The Car Trading Guide is a how-to book series which will guide you step-by-step from ZERO to your first $1000+ in profit in as little time as possible with almost no risk, no matter where you live, no matter what you earn and no matter how little mechanical knowledge you have..
The Car Trading Guide series is different from any other books you may have read about making money from buying and selling used cars. Most books will just be based on information you can find anywhere online and feature only generic information you could find out from a few internet searches.. Or they will be full of a bunch of get rich quick BS based on no actual proof.. NOT HERE! This series was written over 4 years and features over a decade of REAL stories from REAL people.
This guides were not written like 'normal' books either... Traditionally a book would be written by the author, about what the author wants to write about and from the author's point of view - whether it contains all the information that the reader actually wants or not. Instead I spent $1000's of dollars and countless hours of time compiling a very detailed list of all the questions that people were asking about how to make money from used cars. In fact so much research was done that it had to be compiled into 5 separate books! The 47 top questions are answered plus much, much more!

CAR TRADING E-BOOK SERIES
EasyCarProfits.com
Each of the books in this series has been written based on the most common questions people have about how to buy and sell cars for profit. Based on 100's of hours of research and over 10 years of experience the chapters in this book are the most common questions. I have endeavoured to answer them in as much detail as possible. I literally spell out step by step exactly how and what to do. I have tried to write this book series to be as universally applicable as possible and so that someone with absolutely zero experience could pick it up and start making money quickly and with as little risk as possible.
I've spent 1000's of hours researching, and four years writing this series. All based upon a decade of my experience. I've invested $100's of $1000's of dollars and insane amounts of trial and error just to come up with what I believe to be an almost fool proof system which you can use for your own benefit.
Just some of the main topics we cover in this book include:
1. How much money is needed to get started
a. The breakdown of costs
b. Investment 'buffering'
2. Where can I find a bargain?
a. Methods and formats of finding bargains
b. Pro's and Con's of each method
c. Practical Advice summaries
3. How to know a car's value
a. The effective methods for knowing cars real values
4. Which Makes/ Models are the best
a. Effective strategies to find your niche
5. All about Potential Laws and Fees to be aware of
6. How to determine whether a car has too many km/miles
7. How quickly you can expect to make money
a. Realistic guidelines and case studies with practical information
HOW MUCH MONEY IS NEEDED?
You can technically start your selling cars for profit adventure with almost no money. I would however suggest that the more capital (money) you have to begin with the better. Generally you can get a car which you can easily make profit on (at the time of writing this) for about $1000 - $3000 AUD. Obviously if you have more money you can trade newer cars which are generally in better condition and have less risk mechanically. As an example; To buy a car worth (re-sale value) $5000 you would ideally like to have at least $6000. "How come I need more money than I'm going to sell the car for, just to buy it? That makes no sense.. if I'm selling it for profit shouldn't I need less money than the car is worth?". Technically yes, you can absolutely start out with just enough to buy a car, sell that car and make profit, but that can also bring in some unwanted risk factors which can become all too clear once something goes wrong. If you follow the advice in this book then you eliminate about 98% of the risk.
Here's the breakdown of the money:
• $2500 for the car
• $<1000 for Registration, Fees, Transfers, etc.
• $2500 in case problems occur and you need to do some major repairs etc.
Generally this car would cost you $2500 + $500 (possible fees etc) = $3000 but you want the extra money just in case. The reason for this is because you never, ever, ever want to be in a financial position where you need to sell a car. I once spent 3 months living off home-brand cereal when this happened. NOT FUN. But it was a good learning experience.. What I just mentioned is also a reason I STRONGLY RECOMMEND you have at least a part time or full time job whilst doing this. Partly because this can be done using very few hours of your week and partly because no matter how much research you do, occasionally things can go wrong. It's a great addition to an income rather than a sole income, at least for the short term. You can always choose to expand your car empire and even sell cars full time as a business!
In summary:
You don't need huge amounts of money to get started, but make sure YOU ALWAYS HAVE MORE MONEY THAN YOU NEED. This is your 'security blanket' or 'buffer'. Be sure to keep re-investing the money and you will soon find yourself owning better and better cars (or more and more cars) whilst making great money. Then if you ever decide you want to stop for a while or permanently you can just sell your current car(s) and enjoy the fruits of your labour!
WHERE CAN I FIND A CAR TO BUY?
Firstly, you don't want to just 'buy a car'. Anyone can buy a car at retail value and lose a bunch of money... You want to buy a car WAY BELOW THEIR VALUE!! Your money is made when you buy, you just don't get to use it until you sell
- That's my go-to quote when someone asks me how/when you make money buying and selling cars! In short, you want and need a bargain. The good news for you... They do exist in every city, in every country, for every price range ALL OVER THE WORLD. Yes, really. I've traded -very successfully- In Australia and Europe (I am yet to trade in America but I am told there are even more amazing deals to be had there!)
I know what you're thinking... 'This is all well and good but exactly where can i find these cars near me!!!??'
I'm getting to that, I promise! In this game you need to exercise patience because if you're going to be impatient you can lose money!
Here's a list of universal ways to find cheap (bargain) cars:
CAR AUCTIONS
There are Vehicle (Car) Auctions in every city all over the world. Just type into 'google' (or your search engine of choice) the following: Car Auction [name of city]
. Just to be even more clear... If you live in SYDNEY, AUSTRALIA type in: Car Auction Sydney
or Vehicle Auctions Sydney
etc. Most of them are open to the public and even if they aren't if you know the right people you can usually find a way around those dilemmas You can also bid on most auctions from the comfort of your own home. Often there may be a fee attached (under $100) for this privilege but it sure beats driving all week to a bunch of auctions at the off chance you don't even buy anything! I would strongly recommend attending at least 5 auctions at preferably 2 or more different venues to get a very good understanding of how it all works. This is also great because it gives you a chance to physically look through many different cars and spot potential problems as well as identify common issues certain cars have which you can later try to avoid.
It's also a great idea to chat with and -be friendly to- the auction sales guys. Not only is it just good to have them like you and therefore want to help you, but they can actually do quite a few things for you. Here's just a few reasons why you should make them your friends:
• They are responsible for negotiating with the car's owner -often a finance company- if it goes too cheap and doesn't meet reserve. (wouldn't you like them negotiating positively on your behalf?!)
• You can leave your details with them about which type of cars you are looking at buying and they will actively search and contact you when they turn up at the auction house. How good is that?! You don't even have to go to their website or the auction site until you know what you're looking for is there!
• Often when you get an auction car there are, as a minimum, some minor things which need doing. You definitely want them to do their best to make sure they are actively helping to make this happen.. These things can include: Attaching new plates to the vehicle, getting a government inspection done (rare and circumstance dependant), Making sure the things they may have removed for the auction are all put back in (eg the stereo face, spare keys, logbooks, car mats, immobiliser etc.), contacting the old owner about modifications they may have done or security codes etc (rare), Topping up Oil, Coolant, Tyres etc (yes, often if you ask they will be happy to do most of these things, IF they like you!)
Just to be even more specific, here are a few companies in Australia which I find to be consistent (there are many, many others though which are good, including smaller family run operations):
PICKLES AUCTIONS: www.pickles.com.au. (AUS) This company operates all over Australia and has weekly auctions in every single major city and even quite a few rural cities. Their fees are fairly high but so are most of the other auction houses. These guys do a range of auctions including
Trucks, Machinery, Recreational Vehicles and Salvage auctions. I would stick to the 'General and government fleet' for now though as they tend to be in the best condition, but in the past I have done very well in the salvage or 'damaged vehicle' (also referred to as 'salvage') auctions.
*Pickles website snapshot taken from www.pickles.com.au 2014
MANHEIM AUCTIONS. www.manheim.com.au. (WORLDWIDE) This company is BIG. I have visited their auction houses in Australia and in the UK. From what I can tell they are all over the world. From my experience you tend to find more of a 'random' mix of cars here which can go for more
