      Introduction

      We have a Heavenly Father who says it is His good pleasure to give us the kingdom, for His desire is to give good gifts to His children.

      KEYS TO SPIRITUAL ACCESS, offers us a means whereby we can have ACCESS to our Heavenly Father any moment of any day.

      If we are exercising KEYS to our SPIRITUAL ACCESS, it is never inconvenient for us to go into the throne room of God!

      And this is the confidence that we have in him, that, if we ask any thing according to his will, he heareth us: And if we know that he hear us, whatsoever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we desired of him (1 John 5:14 15;KJV).

      He said in His Word to come with confidence so that we may find Grace to help us in our time of need!

      Let us then approach the throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need (Hebrews 4:16).

      With KEYS to our SPIRITUAL ACCESS, we have been given so much more than the KEY to the family car; we have been given THE KEY TO THE KINGDOM that will unlock our blessings as we believe God and exercise our faith and our rights as a child of God.

      We are told to ask and it shall be given unto us.

      And all things, whatsoever ye shall ask in prayer, believing, ye shall receive (Matthew 21:22;KJV).We are also urged not to allow fear to hold us back from using KEYS to our SPIRITUAL ACCESS.

      Fear not, little flock; for it is your Father's good pleasure to give you the kingdom (Luke 12:32; KJV).

      When we go to our Heavenly Father, we can trust that He has the best answer for us. It may be a yes, no, or wait, but we must never lose sight of the fact that He sees the beginning from the end and He knows what to give us, so what are you waiting for?

      Perhaps one or more of the twelve chapters in this book will help you to boldly utilize KEYS of your SPIRITUAL ACCESS to the throne room of grace.

      Chapter One

      Spiritual Communication

      Access Or Excess?

      Have you ever wondered why there are so many different denominations who all proclaim Jesus Christ as their reason for existence? In spite of all the doctrinal disputations, their differences actually matter very little since the Scripture is clear that there is only one name given under heaven whereby men must be saved;

      Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved (Acts 4:12;KJV).

      Regardless of the vast differences of opinion doctrinally, in the Christian community there is common ground which ultimately draws us together and that common ground is the cross! It is not just the cross alone, but the death burial and resurrection of He who was crucified on it!

      The Bible is crystal clear that we are not our own, but we have been bought with a price!

      What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own? For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God's (1 Corinthians 6:19 20:KJV).

      Haven’t you yet learned that your body is the home of the Holy Spirit God gave you, and that he lives within you? Your own body does not belong to you. For God has bought you with a great price. So use every part of your body to give glory back to God because he owns it (1 Corinthians 6:19 20:TLB).

      In other words, if you are a child of God, you are no longer an outsider looking in, but an insider with a KEY! You have ACCESS with a mission, to give glory to God because He owns you! He has taken up residence in every portion of your life!

      It is common for homeowners to have many locks in their houses, each with different KEYS, but to have one master key which opens them all. In the same manner, the Lord has many treasures and secrets all shut up from carnal minds with locks which they cannot open.

      But those who walk in fellowship with Jesus regardless of their ecclesiastical background possesses the MASTER KEY which will admit them to all the covenant blessings from the very heart of God.

      There are very few aspects of the new Testament Church which has been as misused and abused as the concept and claims of SPIRITUAL ACCESS, and the vaunted hot line of COMMUNICATION from heaven called prophecy! If by chance you are an avid fan of Christian television or even a occasional viewer, you should be aware of the fact that COMMUNICATION to and from God through prophecy was one of the indispensable gifts which was manifested as an essential tool of the chosen vessels of God in The Old Testament.

      However, you should also be aware of this pertinent fact, they did not enjoy the benefits of the written word called the Bible! Today, prophecy has become a tool that has been used by many to prove that they are in SPIRITUAL COMMUNICATION with God in order to ingratiate themselves with an extremely gullible audience.

      In many cases the vaunted gift of prophecy is one which has spiraled out of control, mainly among those who are caught up in the hyper Charismatic community!

      Men have used various machinations to claim that they have a hot line of SPIRITUAL COMMUNICATION to Heaven and according to many of them, they are able to hold personal, face to face conversations with God, literally at will!

      Do you think it is possible to have ACCESS to the kind of COMMUNICATION with the God of this universe that would literally place you in a position equal to Jesus, who laid down His life for the world?

      Actually, in a manner of speaking, the answer is YES! But in a different manner than the Biblical Prophets I referred to. I have a BIBLE that I read every day and my daily SPIRITUAL COMMUNICATION through the written Word of God gives me ACCESS to the mind of God by the power of the Holy Spirit! It is not that I do not believe it is possible to SPIRITUALLY COMMUNICATE on a regular basis with God, because I make it a point to do so personally through daily prayer and Bible study.

      Because of the fact that I believe that the Bible is not only timely, but it is also timeless, the instructions which the Apostle Paul gave to Timothy is also appropriate for you and I today!

      Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth (2 Timothy 2:15;KJV).

      Who should we be approved by? What others do is their business, but in spite of the fact that this is my 55th year in ministry, it is still my burning desire to do exactly what Paul has urged Timothy to do, study to show myself approved unto God!

      There is an additional verse that we should not ignore in Paul’s instructions to Timothy;

      But shun profane and vain babblings: for they will increase unto more ungodliness (2 Timothy2:16;KJV).

      There are times when The Living Bible is very useful in order to clarify a point and this is one of those occasions.

      Steer clear of foolish discussions that lead people into the sin of anger with each other (2 Timothy 2:16;TLB).

      Every year in our travels we deal with a wide variety of religious persuasions and there are times when my personal beliefs are quite different to those of the particular group I am ministering to at the time and I carefully adhere to this admonition from the Apostle.

      True SPIRITUAL COMMUNICATION should take away the desire for self gratification, a grandiose self image and especially the desire for the accolades of an adoring audience who is often nothing different from
