When it was first published, it instantly became the international bestseller. More than seventy million copies of the book have been sold around the world in about sixty different languages.
It is said to be one of the bestselling books in history. It has set the Guinness Book World Record for most translated book by a living writer.
The book gives a very clear central message that a person’s need to realize his or her dreams is not separated from spirituality.
The author has tried to say that the things which a person truly desires are actually spiritual messages coming to that person from the universe.
If a person follows these messages in a true spirit and to the best of his or her ability, he or she happens to be most truly alive.
The book has been written in a very straightforward style. The simple writing style makes it possible for the author to reach even a layman. The simple beauty shines through this book.
The story can be compared with the fairy tales or religious stories or children’s stores which as a rule try to convey a very practical life lesson.
The book is admired by the people from all walks of life because its message reaches each of its reader without any kind of ostentation or extra literary presentation of the events.
