William Solesbury has long been professionally engaged with cities. He trained and worked as a town planner, practicing in London and Munich. He also had two academic interludes as a Visiting Researcher at the University of California, Berkeley and at Nuffield College, Oxford. He is also an inveterate traveller to the world’s cities, for both business and pleasure.
